What is Your Pet Peeve?

This drives me nuts too! I don't get dizzy like you but I lose my place is space and if it's somewhere I don't know (like a restaurant) where the lighting is usually really low, then I get so lost and confused. It also makes you feel forgotten.

exactly! one time a friend of mine left me standing near a wall at school (she only had to leave me for a second), but seconds turned into minutes and i had to find someone who could help me find her.

my pet peeve are people from PETA who try to tell me that tigger hates her work as a service dog (even though she *loves* her harness and leash). i think all of these PETA people ought to be fined for doing that to me or anyone else with a service dog.

people that gripe about everything

one of my best friends used to be this way and i finally had to end our friendship because she was just bringing me down emotionally. don't get me wrong. because of my bipolar i experience severe depression and do my share of griping, but whenever i feel this way, i always try to avoid people so they don't have to be subjected to my negative attitude.

Another one of my pet peeves is people who see children and teenagers as one and the same. As in, "oh just another child/teenager" without recognizing the individuality within younger age groups is just as much as within older age groups.

One of mine is feeling nauseated. And not going away.

Sorry if it is TMI.
I hope I'm not getting sick. :(

People who go to McDonalds and decide they will choose what they want "when" they are at the register instead of while they are in line

Commercials for feminine and also these days masculine products shown during "family" programming

People who don't wait for people to get out of a train or an elevator before they try to get on

:laugh2: yea I hate it when people who get on the bus did not have the money ready. They hold up the line while they have to dig around their pocket for coins.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR FARE READY WHEN YOU GET ON THE BUS! :mad2:

People who bake you cookies or brownies and then after you have one go on to tell you what a hellish week is was taking care of their three kids with the flu.

Using someone's bathroom, washing your hands, and discovering they forgot to leave a towel for guests to wipe their hands on

Getting take out from the drive thru, driving off, then finding out 10 miles down the road that your straw has a mini hole in it so you can slurp up you beverage as you drive a long.

i also hate it when you use someone else's bathroom and they don't have enough bathroom tissue on the roll. <mad>

(sorry to be so descriptive, but that's a pet peeve of mine.)

i hate it when i'm standing in line at the grocery store in the express checkout aisle and either 1. people have more than 10 items in their cart or 2. they wait until after they reach the cashier to go digging around in their purse for their checkbook. arggh!

Getting a really cool gift that needs batteries, and the gift giver does not include them

sorry...but it's like "Here you go. Now you have to wait some more"

i get around this problem by bringing extra batteries with me on christmas day or my birthday. that way i don't have to wait to enjoy my gift!

Good idea!

nika and jellybean,

since i always keep batteries around my house for one thing or another, it's easy for me to keep spares when i need them. it would be nice if people would buy batteries so i wouldn't have to bring mine, but since they almost never do, i've gotten into the habit of bringing my own instead.
