Yeah I'm still pretty shaken up a little, I'm not sure if that place got robbed again, I didn't see any blood on the floor by the guy, I could not tell what happened to him, I supposed I'll find out later during the day or something.

Oh yeah, much much better, I still have a little bit of running nose and cough, that's about it. I feel good too a lot better than I was for a few days ;)

i'm still struggling with my uri, but my doctor says my symptoms (coughing, sneezing, congestion, sore throat) should improve over the next few days.

a very good friend of mine who had a uri last winter said my dry cough could linger (as hers did) for an extra month. i hope that won't happen <fingers crossed>, but we'll see.

I hate being sick and smelling food. :pissed:

There, screw the beans. I had them on the slow cooker. I don't think I want to eat another bean as long as I live. :)

i'm so congested, i can't even smell (let alone taste) food. :(

I wouldn't wish this upon you. I almost went to the ER this morning, but after a talk with my parents, I think we're gonna try to skip that step. My mom told me Dad is going to Walmart to get bananas and .. if I read her fingerspelling correctly, Imodim? or something like that. Not sure what that is. If the pain and the nausea would go away, I think I could handle the rest, even get some sleep! The sun is up, but it's behind the clouds.

i wonder if your mother was referring to imodium?

by the way, i know *exactly* how you feel. when my uri started, i experienced nausea, vomiting, migraine, frequent coughing spells, violent (forceful) sneezing and a fever.

right now i'm still struggling with coughing fits, sneezing, congestion and a sore throat.

on top of that, i also have severe cts in my left wrist and the pain (as usual) is bothering me. oh well.

my doctor says i only have a few more days left before my uri symptoms improve, so if i've been sick for this long, i think i can hang in there a little longer.
 
Good morning. Mints, either your mom can't spell or you can't read.

Imodium is over the counter diarrhea medicine. (I am a terrible fingerspelling reader too, since I read by the shape of written words and not by letters.)
 
My mom's fingerspelling is a little rough, and she has always been a terrible speller, which she will proudly admit to.

I seem to be feeling better except when I'm on my way to the loo :angel:

Oh, you're right, both of you, about what it is, Imodium! I think what actually happened is I didn't remember correctly, because now I remember, that's what she said.
 
I'm gonna try to set everything up in my room kind of the way I had it after my surgery. I can lay in bed and watch TV or use my computer or sleep. Maybe I'll feel better in there.
