If anyone read this book will enjoy the new movie coming out Christmas day. I am a yellow lab lover and this is one movie I am definately going to see. You will know where I will be Christmas day :)

The premise sounds cute but did they have to cast Jennifer Anniston? Was Anne Hathaway on vacation?? :roll:

Well, Anne Hathaway isn't a natural blonde. Besides, I'm not really a fan of Anne Hathaway. She's okay in some roles. I wasn't too thrilled when I first heard that Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston were casted for the movie. I read the book, but then I think I'll probably warm up to them.

Oh so you mean that the lead actress had to be blonde? I haven't read the book so I'm in the dark about that. I just don't care for Jennifer Anniston. I liked her okay in 'Office Space' but that's about it.
I really like Kate Hudson and Drew Barrymore..I bet either one of them could have handled the part.

I wasn't too thrilled either about Own Wilson. I read the book as well think maybe another would be better. I will see it on Dec 25th beside the its the dog whose the star of the show:giggle:
 
I am going to buy that book before watching movie! :)

I don't think so, he's on the cover of People magazine Septemer 2007 it doesn't say anything about the movie. It will be a good movie , Marley's the star of the movie :)

I'm confused. Marley- is that the name of the dog or the name of Jennifer's character? :|

Kate Hudson, she wouldn't be right for this part at all. Neither is Drew Barrymore.
 
Marley and Me is about a destructive yellow lab puppy that grows into an adult dog. The couple is John and Jenny Grogan before having kids they decide to get a puppy to get practice of nuturing. Its a very cute story.
 
Woot!, about time, I read the book, it made me shed tears, and I don't cry easily.

I saw the real Marley in a you tube snippet last year in a budget film of sorts. I can't remember if they actually released the film I think they did.

Beautiful dog, but whoa what hassles he brought upon John Crogen. Fantastic writer.

As for the squibbles about which actresses suit, i dunno, how about Charlize Theoron? she's a blonde too, althought she probably wouldnt suit the role either. Hmmmmmmmm ... gotta be something but not Jennifer Aniston (over paid......and all)

Owen wilson ? nah not him, that doesnt sounds like John Crogen just my opinion.
they called him Marley,after Bob Marley the late Reggae King.

I get the sneaky feeling that the book is still gonna be better than the movie, so my advice beg,steal or borrow the book !!

I have read Marley and Me book couple of times. It is very good book.

Sounds like very interesting movie to come out soon. I would watch this movie for sure. :)

I agree with you. I read the book , it made me laugh and cry just excellent work about his yellow lab. I can relate, mine still acts like a puppy at 100 lbs and just about as tall as I am. He's a girls best friend :)

yeah, its definitely a GREAT book, one of the best (even I dont have a copy but i should), and i managed to see your pic, zoomed in, yeah i can see your dog is a big one, with a huge naughty grin!! he certainly looks like a real good friend! Awwww, smiles

I've read the book and I love it. I just saw the trailer.. wow it's nearly 100% accurate depiction of Marley as described in book. Looks like i will enjoy this story.... visually although it's gonna suck cuz I'll know exactly what happens next... oh well!
