I'm curious who use VPAD? so, how was it?

I went to deaf expo and looked at it. he says, "he liked VPAD" better than others.

I want to know your opinion about VPAD.

and what about VP? are you happy with VP? no problem?
 
I believe Chevy57, JClarke and PowerOn have VPADs - maybe they will come in to share with us? :)

I just checked Viable.net to see how one could get VPAD+, it seems when one gets one, someone would come to your house to install it or whatever. I thought if you bought one, you should be given two choices whether or not you want them come to your house.
 
Yes, I have VPAD at home. I got new Viable Number as 10-digital number yesterday. I will order new VPAD+ this week. I will get it before I will sell my own VPAD.

Right, I don't understand why they are supposed to install VPAD+'s instead of installing ourself. Similar as purple rep which are supposed to install MVP to all of customers.

I remember that guy who work at deaf expo told me that if I sign up with MVP, I probably get it like for one year or so. is that true?

I did sign up with VPAD to get digital number at deaf expo, I'm waiting to recieve email from VPAD.

I had OJO a couple month ago but I didn't install myself yet->I didn't know how to install myself HA, so I kept it just in case.

Purple Communications, Inc. still test MVP till be ready early next year, possibly. Apologize for this delay.
 
PowerON doesn't own a VPAD anymore, he sold it. I recall this comment in the other thread.

And for myself, I own a VPAD, yes, have it since I got it, I believe I got it around 6 or 7 months ago and I have experienced NO problems with it, but I know some of you have experienced some, but my VPAD, is the one of the good ones, I have two defective ones at home as well, and the issues are bad. But the good ones have been behaving excellent. The issues has been improving very well since its pre-release early this year, and I have to say, VPAD works very well in Australia -- expect the lag when it is connected to the Viable Servers, also, it worked well in United Kingdom, England. Viable has been serving VPADs around 10 countries alone.

The VPAD provides excellent video quaility, you can even control the internet speed, to make sure it is nice and smooth. It always depends on your fast speed of your internet usage, for example 5000/890 is the excellent speed I had in the past, and it provided real time conversations -- Chevy57 and I have experienced this when I spoke to him on VP 200. Nonetheless, I know the screen is small, but you even though can make it bigger by plugging the RCA outputs onto a nice big screen, for example, it works nicely on my 32" LCD television. It works well wirelessly too.

I have it but I am unhappy becuase I bought it last April, I am mad VPAD won't Hotspot that I need Web Browser, I called and e-mail to Viable Support Tech, they said VPAD will update web Browser, wait wait wait since last April, I saw new VPAD+ have Web Browser but no VPAD, i ask them, can exchange, they said no, but why tech support promise then lie me!!! I will not buy viable future, but I know I hear VPAD 2 will bulti-in battery soon maybe next year, I know!

I think you picked the bad one.
 
Purple Communications Inc (aka HOVRS) are taking their time to make sure it is the best out of other videophones, no wonder some of the deafies are being impatient. unlike myself, everyone should be patient, and understand you would get the best of the videophone and whatnot.

what about VP sorenson? is VPAD better than VP sorenson?.
I'm having a hard time decide either VPAD or VP sorenson and now MVP. a old friend of mine who bought VPAD and she told me that it was broken and they can't fix her VPAD. I'm like geez, I don't know If I want to get VPAD. I want a peace of mind you know. what will happens if VPAD is broken, will they fix it for free or what?.
 
I would argue that VPAD capture the best resolution to be appear on display on other. So amazing.

Bye bye VPAD, I hope for better one. :) Wish it support 480p. Man, it would be nice.
