Just read that the lawyers from GOP is asking Sarah Palin to return all her clothes...

Sarah Palin's Clothes: GOP Lawyer Dispatched To Alaska To Retrieve Some

I know she cannot return ALL her clothes.. she lost some already!

My Mother and I was talking about this earlier.

From what she said Palin was was granted to spend and x amount of money. She did overspend.

Anyhow my mom said she heard that Palin's lost clothing are not actually lost because it was spent on buying extra for her family. My Mom even said it was spent on jewelry!! Yikes!

Have to think about that because my Mother is a VERY intelligent woman!

I think Palin ought to pay back the money she spent on the "First Dude" and her family. After all, the RDC expected Palin to pay for clothes for *herself* -- not for her family or husband.

Agreed.

If it was on herself. I can understand.

Overspending is a no-no.

I think that's sorta of ego and immature, glad she lost.

its so funny to read just how much you people despise this woman. I'm suprised none of y'all are organizing/banding together in a small caravan equipped with nooses and pitchforks to trek all the way up to beautiful Wasilla and lynch the poor woman. I mean some of y'all act like she pissed in your cheerios or something...

:laugh2:

Well in a way, she did. Look at all the mudslinging Palin (and McCain for that matter) did to Obama. It was one attack after another and she wouldn't let up.

Actually, there is one thing I can give Palin credit for -- making this election interesting to watch. :D

I do not despise her.

I despite anyone that misuses MY and other fellow countrymen/women tax dollars.

Except that the clothes purchasing was NOT done with tax dollars.

shes not the first woman/man/politican to abuse the privelage of elected office. As much as i thought she definatly wasnt the right canidate for McCain to slide into the Vice President ticket slot, really i could care less about her "crimes" since honestly its not even worth giving a fuck about. Just petty bullshit. Its not like she fucked her way to the top or skimmed millions from the federal reserve to herself. If theres stuff she did that can be prosecuted im sure it'll be taken care of. So she stole a couple dresses, big fucking deal.

None of this was done with tax dollars, either.

You are right.

But do you think she misused the findings?

I'm not sure but was she was only allowed to buy certain outfits for the campaigns??

Palin is one of the most stupidiest politican I ever heard.

I think it is past time for caring about things like this; let the GOP internal staff work this out.

We have other things to worry about; we need to look to the future and make the best of what's been handed to us.

Amen to that 2C

I agree.

And I think she should paid ALL of the money she's spent on HERSELf and her family. $150,000+ is excessive spending. She should have spent only $5,000 to maybe $10,000 on only herself, and nothing for her family. Anything above $10,000 is inappropriate. She took advantage of the RDC and that is very wrong.

And she doesn't need to go to Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman's to look good. There are plenty of clothing department stores that have clothes for less but still look good and professional. Kohl's, JcPenney's, and the like.

I think $5,000 is more than plenty to clothe her for an entire month.

they gave her a budget to work with, and trust me a female VP canidate isnt to walk into kohl'd and JCPennys :laugh2: Really, in this day and age, $150,000 isnt very much. Alex Rodriguez makes 27 million dollars a year for the NY Yankees. Now THAT is excessive spending :cool2:

Ad Exxon Mobile just posted a quarterly (just for 3 mos!) take in of 14 billion!
