CC-black/white only or colors?

Which do you prefer black/white only or colors for CC? Or it doesn't matter to you.

I bought DTV box (digital box) last april. It has colors and font size/style. I like change colors on CC. Mine's now blue/white color on CC.
 
I guess I'm rather old-fashioned in that I like it to be black and white only. Colors, sometimes, make it hard to read.
 
I have cyan letters on black box on my HDTV. some font/style in different programs. But some DTV (not HDTV)'s caption have black and white only.
 
I'd prefer the black/white closed captioning because it makes it easier to read.

Some of the time, the colored closed captioning can be hard to read especially when the background of the TV is bright.

Just imagine trying to read the closed captioning text in yellow and having the black background of the cc on it. Oh, Now that would just annoy me, ha.

Color text is better on my HDTV than white.
 
Jolie77, what if you can't do anything? You might have to accept what the captions are, eh.
 
Jolie77, You can adjust any color, style and balckground in your HDTV or cable convertor if you favor to choose.

If that's the case, I would try to find a better option instead of reading that kind of caption.

I just prefer it to be black and white.

I tried to set up the blue bkgd/yellow font on my COX hdtv cable receiver and it still show black/white CC. :eek3:
 
I prefer black and white, I think anything else would just be too weird! I prefer my old habits sometimes. Then again I've never had a TV where I could change the CC color so maybe I would like it!
 
My HDTV has that option - I tried different colours but ended up switching back to black and white.
 
Currently: Black and White CC. *can't change the captions colors etc*

I remember I did played around with CC on TV in Canada. I did liked the color CC as well.
 
I saw the color CC before. It's my friend's new Plasma with color adjust. It's really neat! My tv is still same black and white like Chevy's. How about DVD movie with under widescreen or full screen? I like under widescreen. It's easy for me to read and moving in same time.
 
I prefer to have bright color or white words on black windows like a Blk/Wht CC, which is very readable for me.

I really hate color subtitles cos you may not able to read a bright font on *white to light color* backgrounds. I also hate tiny-sized subtitles, too. Because it's so annoying for me to read it, even it's pretty hard to read! Ugh!

Same here. I hate the color change. I can't read the yellow with gray. I like black and white or Navy and white.

I prefer black backgroud with white text because it's easy to read and it works best with anything shown on the TV.
