Hello, I was on the videophone with a client last night, and my father interrupted me, when I was busy talking to my client. I feel it is not fair that I get interrupted and I don't get to interrupt them whenever their on the phone ( my family is all hearing except me) -- I told my father.

Don't interrupt me when I am on the phone!

I don't care, bad luck!

Hey! Do I interrupt you when you are on the phone?!

(Silence)

Be fair, next time!

Does it frustrates you when you are in the same boat as I?

It is all about respect. Treat one as they want to be treated.

No offense. But why was Gw interupting you?

True, I know that you have big family in your house to interrupt you. Close and lock door.

Unfortunately, the room is an open area and it has no door! :eek3: So the VPAD is plugged to my TV in the lounge room.

Well apparently you are at the home of the Parents.

Tough call

I guess it depends on how much one contributes to the household.

Again no offense but you will never have your say or privacy in your parents home.

Your parents are like a lot of parents regardless of age.

You can got pair of Netgear powerline adapters

I've tried it and it doesn't work shit as advertised. But that's just me... or you can just get another wireless router and then bridge it.

The bedroom is too far from the wireless router

I have own netgear powerline adapters. videophone is working with them. no problem. wireless router s range limit is 50 to 70 ft for using Videophone. not enough to feed!

yea it's tricky. It would not work for house with many power appliances plugged in... or old electrical system... or whatever. Oh well sucks that it didn't work for me.

CORERCTION: Natha, we have a 8 port router :eek3:

Can't you get your own phone line that goes directly to your room to use your videophone?

My parents refused -- as it is their house, not mine and I live in their roof. Oh well. Breach of privacy.
