That sounds like a good idea for a psychology project.
In one psychology class I had at RIT, students were giving presentations on perceptions. (Psychology of Perception)
One student gave a presentation and this woman walked in the classroom interrupting the presenter. "Excuse me, anyone seen (insert name here)? Sorry." She immediately left.
The presenter continued her presentation. Her presentation was about perceiving things and remembering them based on their significance. At the end, she asked everyone if they remembered what the woman (who walked in the room and interrupted the class) was wearing. No one remembered. She pointed out that because the significant part of their current perception was her presentation, no one cared about what the woman was wearing. They remembered that she walked in, but not what she was wearing. I guess we all got :Owned:
