MCain's homes

give Obama 10 years... he'll be making millions and doing same thing like all politicians. several houses... several servants... they're all the same. Obama ain't no goddamn saint.

And exactly who claimed that he was?

And exactly who claimed that he was?

not a claim. but you and Liebling glorified him as a saint and that he will bring "change." you simply need to take a bit more time when reading, and not take everything at surface value. There are subtle meanings and implications that you continually miss. Perhaps the failure to look deeper than what you see on the surface is the reason that you continue to come up with such innane and shallow explanations and solutions.

Did you notice the word "was" in my original, post? That means my reference to the depression was the past tense. Past tense indicates something that has happened prior, not something that is happening currently. To make it clear, I was drawing a parallel between your blame of the victims in the current situation of foreclosure, and a blame of the victims for creating the Great Depression of last century. In addition, the second sentence was one of a sarcastic nature. Really, jiro, you simply need to take a bit more time when reading, and not take everything at surface value. There are subtle meanings and implications that you continually miss. Perhaps the failure to look deeper than what you see on the surface is the reason that you continue to come up with such innane and shallow explanations and solutions.

oooohhh i'm very aware of it. perhaps you failed to understand my post in a subtle sarcastic nature. You should take a time off and clear your head for the moment so that you don't take everything at surface value. Perhaps the failure to think ahead with clarity and logical to make a difficult decision that sacrifices some & some is the reason that you continue to come up with such fallacious, impossible explanations and solutions where it works in a controlled, well-funded environment.... probably why you're still working on ph.d.... if you are actually a ph.d candidate IRL. As far as I'm concerned - you could be an average Jane who reads one too many shrink books. gotta love the anonymity of internet.

you fail to remember that we're all free to share our POV. no one's POV is more right than others. We can disagree or agree but you cannot squash them and claim that yours is supremely right. Please respect the AD rules :ty:

btw - you mentioned depression in the subject of mass foreclosures. I have to point out that:
1. depression was government's fault... obviously
2. this mass foreclosure is not largely government's fault
3. this mass foreclosures are mainly people's faults for not making sound judgement.
4. just because government made regulations easier to loan money does not mean it's a great gimmick. People should have be very careful of it.
5. corporations got greedy and reckless
6. <slap their hands out of cookie jar> no such thing as cheap 1-cent cookie :cool2:

Ever heard of the term "run on sentence"? They don't make any sense. Yours is consistent with that.

Frankly, I'm not too terribly concerned regarding your assessment. Why is it you keep mentioning my Ph.D. candidacy? Jealous?

Remember that Chinese Proverb I related to you several days ago? You continue to make it true.

I'm not violating any rules.

There you go. Blaming the foreclosures on the individuals rather than placing the blame where it belongs.

and why are you misplacing blame on government? They didn't make or force people to take loans, didn't they? If the people knew anything about personal responsibility... we wouldn't be in this mess

You really are a piece of work!:laugh2:

Thank God you only get one vote!:giggle:

This is an interesting piece and has put a lot of perspective into this. As proactive as this article is, It has brought out a lot of points for both candidates.

Agreed. I was impressed with the lack of bias.

I'm not a management "expert" but what does that have to do with being a Christian???
Especially when you pointed Bill Clinton and his adultery in the past debate while here no one say anything about Mc Cain's present committ adultery to his second wife.

I didn't know that McCain is presently committing adultery on his second wife. Please inform me.

The discussion about Bill Clinton was that he lied under oath about his adultery while he was President.

This is not communism where Government control 100% of everything. This is democracy and captialism market. Its by free will of individual to choose what they want. If they saw an opportunity, they will grab it before think throughly what they are getting.

Certain things Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac created guideline that bankers follow. But its up to individual to accept the worst guidelines as possible. They have choices and not by force. It does not make sense blaming government when its all about freewill.

Thank God for American's freedom. We cannot just blame government for everything because it was created by individual. Not by one person. That the difference.

I think jazzy is referring to the fact that McCain was married to his first wife while having an affair with the present 2nd wife.
