why so many deaf single men?

I'm a deaf single guy. I'd like to think I'm not a complete buffoon and can carry an intelligent conversation (depending on environmental noise). First, there's probably the idea that most hearing people get that they can't communicate with deaf people. They're just afraid to try. Some kind of popular culture example needs to be made about that (maybe there was, on "West Wing" with Marlee Matlin?).

If you manage to get past that, then you have to deal with a very peculiar side of the female personality: most women like guys who treat them bad and don't consider having relationships with nice guys. When they eventually grow up and ask, where are all the nice guys... well the most likely answer is here.

It eventually gets to the point that, some people go 'why bother', while others just stop caring and move onto getting better jobs or better skills or doing hobbies or whatever. There's a lot of free time that's available when you're not in a relationship, and sometimes (especially for the folks who's burnt out on getting the raw deal) it's a lot more fun being alone and not worried about being frustrated about relationships (or getting one).

Is it me or most of the post here is "blaming" for the lack of better term women for the reason why they are single?
 
I am single - kind of by choice. I do date sometime, but I haven't really found the right girl.

There is nothing wrong being single. More people, nowadays are single - whether or not by choice.

I know I'm going to get in a little bit of trouble here but, they are partially correct when it comes to Amercian women being to blame. Even my Brazilian GF says American women have been on the decline for several years now. They have become greedier, they want men to be men but more like women-hairless bodies, touchy feely, emotional. More and more American men are looking to other country's to find their soulemate-Brazil, Russia, Asia-who can blame them. Feminism in America is out of touch these days.
 
As for all men, if you are having a hard time finding a gratefull woman in America, look elsewhere-you won't regret it.

Why? Why should men have to pay $$$$ just to meet women outside the United States/North America?

I want my man to be more like woman? That is new to me! :laugh2: I dont need a woman-like man. I prefer my man to be ALL man to me.

I m used to being blamed by men but they dont get to me - I find it all silly and sad. If it makes them feel good about themselves, so let it be :giggle::laugh2:

Maybe these men want women to kiss their asses but American women wont. I say, "good for the American women!!!"

Hey men...time for you all to fly out of the country and search your soulmates. OOOH...what happens to the men who live in the other countries when American men take all the women away from them? OOOH, maybe we American women can take them! :giggle:
