He was a hero to his own people. He was considered out of the world's greatest leaders. Too bad he was evil.

They were tired of problems like hyperinflation after WWI in Germany and being crushed by the Treaty of Versailles, which removed areas with natural resources and colonies from Germany, so there were people happy to have Hitler as a strong leader. Would've been nice if it was someone else who didn't hate so many groups of people.
