I hate anything above 65 - 70 degrees. I hate humidity as do my HA's and hair. My kids love summer because they seem to hate wearing clothes!

I'm await for snow come up in summer here in Texas. I'm carry the sled with me. Yes, I wear mitten and heavy coat. la de la de la...

Summer is a time, when I was growing up, when you baked in still air and the unforgiving sun hugs you tightly. When I was growing up, the winters brought biting wind that took delight in slowing me down.

I've lived in many places and experienced their geographical differences. I've lived in a place where winter was, mostly, mild. I've lived in a place where summer never went beyond 80 degrees(F) (about 26.7 Celcius).

Fall is when the trees dress in costume and people and their children retreat indoors. Winter has varying weather that comes and goes. Spring brings many invitations to re-discover Creation and all its living wonders.

Summer brings one long weather. You beg for weather. You beg for the chance to breathe the air without needing water. You run from one air-conditioned place to another so nobody sees you sweat. When you step out of an air-conditioned building, the heat from the pavenment/cement tackles you like a rugby team and forces you to squint and pause.

As much as I find the summer season to be with flaws, I am busier during that time. Festivals, gatherings, and vacations are in full force. People with their children are discovering, socializing, and being mobile. I meet more people and, in exchange for all the sweat and sunburns, I laugh more.

I am a four season person, that's for sure. I like the winds of change and the visual reminders of time. Try as I might, I am never ready for the summer heat.

Ironically, In the summer time when the weather gets so HOT. We would start saying "I can't wait until winter comes because it's hot!"

But then.... Winter comes by and it gets too cold. We would be saying "Brr it's cold! I can't wait until summer is here!".

Truth be told, We may prefer one season than another but the bottom line is, we are accustomed to what nature has in store for us (weather wise) that is.

As for me, I am welcoming the summer only, the downside is the humidity.

No.

It is too fucking hot.

It was 100 fucking degrees out today.

I can't do nothing because I don't want to get overheated! I got overheated the other day. :(

We went to the beach last week, and (if it doesn't rain) we'll go again tomorrow. We try to go at least once a week. I love the ocean. :)

I'm already in the summer. Hello, sun, it's nice to see you again. *look up with a welding helmet on*
