From the man-boy genius Obama to think that spending $246,436 per job in the job saving marking business he's in thinking it's smart money isn't exactly expire a lot of people's confidence in him. No wonder his polls continue drop.

The Obama Administration is touting that their stimulus program has saved or created 640,329 jobs since it was enacted back in February through the end of October. This number is updated and posted on the Administration’s recovery.gov web site. That amounts to $246,436 per job based on the $157.8bn that has been awarded so far! Total compensation earned by the average payroll employee during October, on an annualized basis, was $59,867. If the government had simply used the funds awarded so far to pay for a year’s worth of labor, that would have paid for 2.6mn jobs!

I'd be extremely happy if they just paid me 30k up front.

No kiddin. But $246,000 for each working person? Rather reckless if you ask me. Talk about raiding the "Obama stash." This proves the ineptitude of the WH when it comes to "saving" and "creating" jobs. Totally, totally laughable here not to mention deadly serious in this kind of financial abuse and lack of accountability.

Anyone find the irony in telling the government how to spend its money on the people's employment...

When the said man's payroll is the government's?

yeah, also makes me think of this:

Give me about 24.6million dollars - I'll set up a company that manufactures whatnot. I'll provide jobs for 100 people.

You won't be bought out by corporates, PFH?

At least your idea's better... put the businesses back in the hands of the hard-working folks, not the elites.

Assuming that each person will get $246,000 = ($24.6/100) I'm sure there'd be a lot of happy people there, unless you, as a CEO, get $10 million and the rest of the 99 get the "crumbs". Key thing, can you make this company sustainable and create profits to keep your employers happy for years while in employment?

ah yes.... that's the keyword. ASSUMING. Fact is - not all need it. why don't you go find us a real number and then we can debate about it.

All talk, why don't you do it kokonut? Perhaps through your action, you will FINALLY become a role model. Only then this will NOT be a argumentative issue wouldn't it?

do what?

Fix up what's broken to prove your point. Otherwise, it's all talk.

Oh, good idea, selling to corporates - I can make a good living off that.
You're not going to ship jobs overseas?
Hell no.

You see, I could give them 6 years of 40k a year from the 246k. And I'm pretty sure I could come up with something to make it sustainable. There's so many.

For example - I could just ask for 200k, and start a liquor store. The start up cost is around 165-175k. I will give employment to myself, and 5 other people easily. Not to mention the added small % of work for the people who brings the liquor to my store. (all the brewers, wineries, distilleries, distributors, cleaning supplies, and so on)
Since the booze is already paid off, my overhead is very small. That can go on for years easily.

There's a rather simple concept called, "voting." Vote for your Congress person who believes in financial accountability, limited govt, conservative values, and the defense of our country, not necessarily in that order.

by hiring illegals, you can hire 10-15 people which is equivalent to 5 non-illegals :hmm: but it's good idea to hire 1-2 non-illegals just to make your paperwork looks good and legitimated. :cool2:
