Yes it is against the law.. because it is sick and I don't want anyone to be taking advantage of my daughter when she is around that age. I want my kids to be with people closer or the same age as theirs. At 15 years old.. you should be focusing in school.. and have fun.. not think about having a serious boyfriend. It's legal to have sex between 14 and 16 years old in Europe countries. For America is an illegal to have sex until 18 years old.

Everyone knows that once you reach the legal age (which is 18 and over) here in USA, It is of course against the law to have sex (for those who are over 18) with someone who is a minor - hence the Statutory Rape.

Sex is always need to be taken seriously. It can be fun but at the same time, that is when common sense comes in. It is not meant to be taken lightly because of so many reasons that are included. Do I need to go on and on about this? I'm sure you guys have got the picture of what scenarios that can be encountered when un-safe sex comes into this.

What if there is a high school sweetheart? One is Senior and going to graduate in spring time. And she/he date with Freshman? I wonder if they have to break up or she/he (freshmen but going to be sophmore) would wait till she/he graduate and go back with same person that dated way back from when she/he was Freshmen?

In most (if not all) states it would be illegal. Sex with a minor in Maryland is not necessarily illegal. Maryland has what is known as an 'Age Gap' law. An 18 year old could have sex with a 15 year old because they are only 3 years apart. A 19 year old could not legally have sex with 15 year old. A 19 year old could have sex with a 16 year old though, but a 20 year old could not.

Nineteen year olds have nothing in common with fifteen year olds anyway. Nineteen year old men should take responsibility and avoid young girls but I know that their dicks tend to go the other way.

What if there is a high school sweetheart? One is Senior and going to graduate in spring time. And she/he date with Freshman? I wonder if they have to break up or she/he (freshmen but going to be sophmore) would wait till she/he graduate and go back with same person that dated way back from when she/he was Freshmen? A friend of mine dated older guy but she never reported to cop. Cuz he was 21 and she was 16 or 17 or 18 (can't remember how old she was) WHILE in high school. She did got pregnant and had 3 girls from same guy. I was like SHEESH! She should CLOSE her legs and wait till she graduate high school but she did graduate while she have the baby. (her two younger sisters are deaf, that's how I know ) Sex can be fun BUT you need to be protect yourself from older man/woman (don't matter which one). I was so careful when I was younger because I know I could get pregnant or whatever. __________________

Maryland has what is known as an 'Age Gap' law. An 18 year old could have sex with a 15 year old because they are only 3 years apart. A 19 year old could not legally have sex with 15 year old. A 19 year old could have sex with a 16 year old though, but a 20 year old could not.
