Do you believe ghosts - regardless of what form - exist in our world?

Last night I felt something on my leg, like a nudge. I woke up and looked around - there was no one. Puzzled, I went back to sleep (after checking on my girls, of course). It happened again - this time I was a little spooked. I looked under the bed (yes, I get a gold star for bravery for that) and around my room. The door was closed, so I know it weren't my daughters - whom I checked on again to make sure they were safe.

This morning I was making lunches when my oldest daughter came up to me and asked, "How was sister last night?" I asked her what did she mean by how Isabelle was doing. She said, "Not Isabelle. My other sister. She came and visited us last night. Said she loved you and she will come to visit again -soon. And Mommy - she looked just like me!"

I dropped her lunch box, shocked. I excused myself for a few moments to be alone. I never shaked as bad as I did this morning.

Her twin sister had died at birth, more than five years ago. No one has told her about her twin yet.

But this isn't our first incident of the "visits." When my oldest daughter was only three, she had a tea party. There were several teddy bears/stuffed rabbits sitting - but one chair was empty. I asked her, "Well, who is sitting in this chair." She looked at me like I was dumb. "Mommy - Lilly is. You know Lilly! She lives with God but plays with me a lot." She proceeded to pretend to pour tea and then she looked at me, "Mommy - she has brown hair and brown eyes - just like me!"

I got goose bumps up my neck. Lilly was the name of her twin sister...with brown hair and brown eyes.

Was it an imaginary friend? Or her sister's ghost? What do you think? Are ghosts real?

wow i am sure that is her sister ghost

ghosts can be real i know i have seen ghosts in my lifetimes even thou seen some of my family members as ghosts

Yeah, me too. I don't believe in ghosts unless if what people say if that is true. I think it is all in your mind and in the figment of your imagination. I am pretty spiritual sometimes, but over all I don't think there is any ghosts. :dunno:

Chances are she already knows since she is a twin. Twins usually have a strong connection with one another. She already knows the name of her twin without you telling her and that something has happend to her twin.

:)

It's time for mommy to tell her about her twin sister.

I do believe in ghosts. Never seen one, but only in my dreams.

I love haunted houses and very old buildings, I do believe ghosts does exists.

Even graveyards. I love to explorer the cemetery...mmmm....ahhh...

I had a dream the night my sister died, she was telling me she is ok and alive, not to worry about her. She asked me to tell my parents she is fine and not to worry about her. Do anyone every had that dream? My mom said the reason I had this dream that no one did because she and I were very, very close...

Interesting perspective! I guess I do...but I'm not ready yet. She's ready, but I'm not.

My mom said the exact same thing happened the morning her sister died...and mom was asleep but dreamed my aunt telling her she was ok and that to tell the family as well...they were very best friends.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister.

I am sorry to hear too. She died over 21 years ago. After that dream, I felt better knowing she is alright and not sick anymore...and then went on with my life...

I do believe it is real. Ghosts do have reasons to come around...I felt it was because they are unsettle here and wait for the job to be done. Or I felt sometimes ghosts felt confused and not knowing or understanding that he/she is already dead.

Really? Whoa. Where do you sense ghosts? How do you sense them? Like only in the cemetries...or places like at home, in the store, in the hospitals, etc?

everywhere depend

even my friend (who is alike me) did felt her father in law touch her in the store just after he died.

I had felt someone was rubbing my back right when my uncle was telling me the news that my sister had 50/50 chances to live or die the day before she died. But when he told me the news, I just knew right there and then that she was already dead. (During that time she went into Coma just like that) It was a feeling I had...mixture of peace and death...

I'm glad you were able to find peace and move on with your life, knowing she's okay now. :). That has to be quite reassuring for you.
