Verizon, Sprint, At&t

I have been with Sprint for 4 years. Sprint is great but data plan price changed last October that $39 to $54.
I decided to call Verizon about data plan and Verizon data plan $54.
At&t data plan $55.
I see all are almost same price. guess what! I decided to switch to Verizon because map coverage is great, unlimited data included hotspot too. I got new Samsung Galaxy S3 :D

What about your wireless company that same or different price for data plan?
 
I'm still on $30/month under Sprint :D

Of course, once I get new smartphone, I'll see $50/month, bah.

Incorrect, at&t TAP is $50 per month, not $55.

That is with a Galaxy Note; unlimited messaging, 3gb of data and 0 minutes
 
Guys, let's understand something really simple about the AT & T TAP plan.

There are different monthly rate plans based on how much data the user wishes to receive and send. Here's the link to a table comparing the data plans.

A $50.00 charge is given BEFORE taxes. :)
 
Im happy with Verizon, I did went into deep woods about an hour and half away and it was a state park in middle of nowhere. And I still can use it. Send and recieve text and E mail!
Verizon is best with coverage.
Verizon plan is cheaper than AT&T TAP plan!
Even though it looks like 5 dollars expensive but I get more than what AT&T has to offer.

Are you sure?

at&t TAP is $50 for 3 GB data/unlimited texts.

Verizon Deaf plan is $55 for 2 GB data/unlimited texts.

How are you get more offer via Verizon than at&t does for price?

It is worthless to debate which company gives the best coverage. Here's why. One area might have more towers operated by Verizon than AT &T. Another city maybe 30 miles away has more towers operated by AT & T than Verizon. This is precisely why it is important to see which offers more coverage in your area then go with that carrier.

Also, there's another thing to consider. Verizon tends to have hidden fees whereas AT & T does not.
 
I'm still under my parents' plan - when my parents switched to Verizon back in like 2003-2005 there wasn't a deaf plan yet. I am grandfathered in under the unlimited data plan. However I really am not looking forward to the day that Verizon eventually gets rid of the grandfather clause for the unlimited data :(

Also, my post (#7) isn't intended to against your wish but I'm just giving you a challenge question if I find something is odd, nothing is serious. :)
 
I paid $39.99 a month with Sprint as well. I wanted to buy Galaxy SIII but Sprint wont let me keep old plan. How you get unlimited Verizon data plan? I want one too

Verizon killed unlimited data since last year.
 
I get 4GB for 55 dollars a month Plus better coverage. How can you beat that?

First of all, please put what you want to say under the original post. This is for the sake of readability.

Anyway, some people might not want that much GB depending on what they want to use their phone for. Some will settle for less as they don't have much they want to do on their phone.

Your scenario might not work for a person whose coverage provided by a certain company is terrible. Let me illustrate a scenario.

Verizon offers 4 GB for $55 per month, but doesn't have many towers where one lives.

AT & T offers 2 GB for $50 per month and there are so many towers where one lives.

Which option would one prefer? The offer given by Verizon because of the cost? The offer by AT & T because of the coverage?

Basically, it is up to the customer to weigh the options. :)
 
LOL, your not thinking right, I am not going to stay in one spot all the time. The wireless pager was INTENDED as traveling around and my pager may have connected not just one tower but several towers thoughout the day. Your point is moot.

I already did experiment with my wife and my friend, My wife on Virgin mobile, my friend on Sprint wireless and Im on Verizon. We were out on "Vacation", Guess what happened? Both of my wife and my friend pager had disconnected and lost connections, the longest was few hours without connection, me on Verizon? Not even single disconnection!

My point is not moot at all as it is valid. I said in an earlier thread that one should purchase a phone from a phone service provider that has the most towers in one's area in order to maximize the coverage! All of the major phone service providers have a coverage map on their websites.

Of course, a cell phone is not designed just to connect to just one tower, but to be continually connected to towers that are strategically placed in regions. With Sprint, your wife and your friend did not have connectivity on their phones because the distance between the last tower before the connectivity was broken to the next tower was too long in which there weren't towers along the route to maintain that connectivity.

By the way, I am not a fan of Sprint. :)

See? Verizon happen to have more towers meaning more coverage, it is like I pay a little more for better access wherever I am. , My wife and my friend couldn't use pager for a while, yet pay for it anyway.

Oh really, I don't know that Verizon increased from 2 GB to 4 GB now.

Yup, Verizon has better coverage than at&t because at&t has issue with dead zone that I received no reception in some places with strong coverage.

Do you use smartphone with LTE? What kind of smartphone that you have one now? I heard about Verizon LTE is very congested and Verizon said they will going to expand the bandwidth.
