I just saw the news - I had to grab my father's attention because he loves Japan.

This is really bad. :(

Tsunamis set to hit all across the Pacific Rim. Hawaii will probably be hit. Hope everyone can get to high ground in time.

terrible.... but same ole' disaster.... hope the causality rate is very low

I was shocked to watch it on TV this morning. Massive Tsunami may covered some of Northern Japan islands. 8.9 richter scale is largest earthquake in Japan's history since 1800. Wow!

The news footage of the widespread destruction is shocking.

Tsunami to hit U. S. coasts!!!! CA, OR, and WA and AK! stay away from coasts! Wake up friends!

I just watch that video clip you shared with us. Now that is so worse... :(

can't view it. just learned about it. :( I did not mean to say that but hope they all can bring animals over here and put them for adoption. Those peoples are in my thought. :(

Absolutely horrific...just read where they have found 200 bodies washed up on the shore....Tsunamises scare me more than anything else in this world...

all the videos are so sadd... I really hope not too many people were hurt. We can only hope for the best! :(:(

This is just so heart breaking. Thankfully Japan isn't in dire economic straights the way Jakarta and Haiti are. But still the recovery will be massive and likely will take years to get Japan back to where they were.

I am surprised the Japanese Prime Minister has not issued a statement yet as President Obama has already said the United States will stand by Japan in it's recovery process.

From what I understand the death toll is expected to be in the thousands before all is said and done. =(

My thoughts and prayers are with Japanese people in those affected area.

I got two cousins who are teaching English there. I hope they are okay.

oh yeah Japan got really mess up after attack and try cleanup its hard!! Remind of Katrina in 2005
