Westboro still up to its dirty actions at funerals

Good on them!!! I have a few friends on facebook from NC and saw a couple posts asking people to show up for the human wall. Every now and then...my faith in humanity is restored :D

Those people are truly sick. I don't know what sickens me more, their "message" or the fact that they involve children. More people ought to sock it to them.

I am offended that they call themselves Baptists. Who ... in their RIGHT mind ... mocks family members while they are grieving the loss of their loved ones?
 
I have NO respect to Westboro at all and they are one of most hate organization.

Fred Phelps is just successfully to destroy the relation between Christians and gay/lesbian people, that how put me into biggest mess about what I believe in.

They're not Christians...they just pretend to be. All they are is a hate group...and no true Christian, or person of any faith or moral character for that matter, would side with garbage like them.

Phelps' son left Westboro because he claimed his father was physically abusive. In an interview, he said that his father used the church as a platform for his hatred.

He is an LGBT advocate:

WBC mentions that they are Christians and they made very bad public that caused gay communities to have a bad reaction and very confusing, that's just how behavior causes odd between relations.

They can scream they're Christian all they want but saying so doesn't make them one. It's your actions that speak to your faith and their actions speak to their depravity.

Ok, the WBC and Fred Phelps were major responsible that caused me to switch my religion to atheist in 2006 and it was worst attack that I had in year, including bullied at high school.

I'm sorry that happened to you and that you had that experience. In every age, someone always believes they're a prophet of God. However as Renza Aslan wrote in his book "No god, but God," 'The prophets talk about God, not for Him." Your relationship with Him isn't defined by a book or by some nut case that claims to be Baptist. Faith offers you one guaranty, if someone points to a Holy Book and says "God hates you," you know they're a lier....

I hope you realize that Fred Phelps and his in-bred "church" members do not in any way, shape or form represent real followers of Jesus Christ.

TCS and I are Christians, and also happen to be Baptists, and we totally disavow WBC. In fact, we are members of the Patriot Guard Riders, so you know that we are opposed to the words and actions of the WBC loudmouths.

I read through some of that, you were obviously bullied Foxrac. You might be surprised, I was bullied for my beliefs by people who support same sex marriage.

You and I both agree on something, even though we disagree on same sex marriage. The thing we agree on is bullying should never be tolerated.

Yup, I know that WBC is bad and they are worthless organization.

Oh yup, I remember about Patriot Guard Riders, that where you created a thread. The funeral picketing isn't FUNNY at all and I will be extremely devastated and very depressed if they picket the funeral that where my family member is there.

I am a Christian and Baptist as well. Phelps is not one of us. In fact, there is a thread here somewhere in which I personally went out and confronted the group.

My suggestion is not to react. to other people. If you change yourself out of anger over someone else, you have given them power over you.
