Yeah, what I really anger & p!ss off at MS will disable the unauthorized MU for Xb360. Grrr, I'm feeling very unfair, knowing, Now I can't make backups of my saves and content. What will happens if something goes wrong with MS stroage devices? Yes, I will lose all my precious data, which I collected many years, and there is no solution, except 3rd party products. My own save files is not their property, Microsoft.

M$ is going to lose alot of customers that way. People are switching to Apple as of late because they couldn't take M$ anymore even with their upcoming release of Windows 7. M$ ruined sidekick user which once was owned by Danger 'til M$ brought it. Here is another reason why: Modern Warfare 2 PC: no dedicated servers, mods - PC Gaming, PlayStation, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, News, Reviews, Downloads, Custom Apps, Homebrew and much more.

Most MU cards are M$ authorized, are they going disabling the MU card slots?

Damn to Infinity Ward, it wasn't Steam because Steam do support mods so it is up to Infinity Ward to support it.

Modern Warfare 2 for PC will not label as Games For Windows but it will label as regular PC like NFS Shift and Saints Row 2.

WTF!!!! I noticed this game will cost $60 for PC, similar to console, that's first time.

I'm predict this game for PC will sold so very poor due alot of situation that listed in link, it would force massive price cut for PC version if sale is very poor, however console version would probably get well sold or good at least.

M$ only authorized and allow only made and branded no other than M$ itself. Meaning we buy their products only. M$ is getting greedier and evil.

Ah fk it, I moved to HD all done now, the MU cards are now empty except only 1 arcade cannot moved it's Worms game that I bought a MU card at best buy store that "Worms" included on the new 512MB MU card.

Possibility all of M$ MU cards would not selling anymore. M$ greedy deep5hi+!

If I buy the windows pcs, I would take the Win7 HD out and replace with new HD with new linux installation.

No.. I thinking you are confused by this. Mm, Your Xbox 360 Memory Unit (512 MB) under MS'a authority, it will be fine and running on your xbox 360, Ms will not disable.. You can using your OEM MS 512MB MU.

However My MU is the unauthorized by MS.. it called " datel max memory --> codejunkie that i purchased from best buy, also. So MS banned all the unauthorized stroage device and unauthorized MU. so they wanted you to buy their own authorized mu or MS authorized HDD instead of those..

all Mac depend on pc hardware such as ATI, NIVIDA, RAM, harddrive, others on and on list you named. And those are actual PURE PC hareware.. I never will understand why people saying LAPTOP/DESKTOP is MAC. it doesn't.. But laptop/desktop running own APPLE Leopard OS, which called MAC, thats it. whats your point?

XBGMER is right about unauthorized memory card, it means non-MS brand, such as Madcatz or Datel.

If you're a Preview Program member and you've been saving backup files from your Xbox 360 on an another storage device, read this now. This is important. An Xbox 360 system update is coming next week, and one of the changes is that all storage devices that are not officially-licensed for the Xbox 360 will no longer work with the console.

Info comes from Major Nelson himself, who posted at his blog:

When Preview Program members start receiving the Xbox 360 system update next week, one of the changes is that unauthorized Memory Units will no longer work with the Xbox 360. If you’ve moved your profile or saved games onto one to “back it up,” you’d better move it back onto an authorized Xbox 360 storage device prior to taking the update. If you continue to use an unauthorized Memory Unit after the update, you will not be able to access your stored profile or saved games.

No specific reason was given as to the change, but it does look pretty clear that you're gonna have to get an Xbox 360 storage device for that spare memory.

Yes I did said that, you didn't mention you had M$ branded MU from best buy. If you have MU made by M$ then you souldn't worry.

You posted in past of message, and I am not friendly of dictionary.. I just saw Major Nelson about memory cards, most store would remove the M$ and Datel Max Memory cards (codejunkie),

Ppls who have a arcade version console already have internal MU that be okay and not the M$ memory cards. when the xbox would update and that will be DISABLED on memory card slots.

USB slots can be use for flash drive as Movies, picture and backup for Xbox system file, cannot save any games.. Maybe in the future USB would able to save games..
