Hmm, I guess we all need something ridiculous to focus on since Ravensteve1961 isn't with us anymore. If its not one thing, its another.

I see no problem with them. If they were more realistic, maybe yes, there'd be some decency issues, but kids are far more likely to get worse ideas from watching animals mating on the Discovery Channel.

Just one question why was :sure: included in your list? :mrgreen:

And, also kids will learn about "sex" in their "health" class at school. No difference. As long as it's the parents' responsibility to teach their kids what the "birds & bees" really are and what purpose it is for. :)

I believe there is a difference between a serious biological presentation in an academic setting, and "sexy" emoticons that demonstrate specific sexual acts in a comic way that would appeal to kids. I sure hope the kids in government schools are not learning about oral sex, masturbation, group sex, anal sex, etc., in health class. Also, the emoticons that "flip the bird" don't fit into any school class.

Truthfully, I am rather surprised that the nasty smilies are so popular with mature people. I would expect no one over age 18 would still be giggling over sexual smilies much less fighting over them. It just seems juvenile.
 
With maturity, I think it is still important to keep a sense of humor and not take all things too serious. The smilies are just fun to be had on here. I rarely see the sexual ones used anyways.
 
uhh huhh... i know its immature to fight over that. but i am bored hehe.. hmm u right central i dun see big deal about it. it not used very often around here.
 
well here's a sign of maturity...i was gonna make an orgy thread and have all the sex smilies gettin it on...but i didnt...only because i was too lazy to click all those things..but the point is i didnt :mrgreen:

Sure, I like a good sense of humor. :D I just haven't found "potty" humor funny since I was about four years old. :zzz:
 
I don't care. Porn fine with me but I'm sure we have a lot of young kids like age 10 around here and it's up to you if its right thing to explore them. I don't own this forum. If I own this forum and I wouldn't put those similes.

I don't like the smilies but I put up with them cause I like this forum. I went to another deaf forum site yesterday and was shocked at what they allowed!! Not going back to that one.

I just try not to look at the smilies & ignore them and remind myself they're just smilies.

IF you do not like porn, how come you prefer your pix of avatar on your personal userid? Are you trying to teach young kids that it is ok to learn the two ladies kissing while touching their breasts...

I think I know which one you are talking about...and I just joined there recently. :shock: That's why I am not going to post there very much, but I post more here, and in a couple of others that isn't like the one you are talking about. :)
