I didn't vote, because, I'm on the fence about this issue. I do not like seeing the dirty smilies, but I also choose to ignore them and not use them, too. Also, people have made an issue about children accidently seeing something they shouldn't. Well, in my opinion, that's a non-issue as well.

In my mind this whole issue is moot. Those of us who choose to use the smiles, do. While those (like myself) who find them offensive CAN CHOOSE to ignore them. Lastly, for the Love of God, if you don't want your kid to see them, don't peruse AD well the child is within easy reading distance! It's really that simple! Wait until "Little Susie or Little Jimmy" goes to bed, and then, doing your playing around!

Now, haven't we beaten this dead horse enough? It's stiff beyond rigor mortis at this point. Doncha all think? So, can we now please put this issue to rest once and for all?!

yes OB, i agree i dun care either, sometime those posts are not approaiate but i just ingore them. I dun really care about those smilies.. and yes please i would like this to stop now that the wolf is gone..

I have found and used the User CP settings for removing avatars, signatures, and images but I can't find a way to get rid of the emoticons. Can you please tell me where to find that setting? I don't like looking at them, and that would be very helpful.

I do not care about them. I do not use them often anymore. I used to but not anymore. I guess I mature more now. :D
