Yes, I checked the history about incest and you are correct about originally from Europe, not North America.

For polygamy, in North America, it was originally from Native Americans.

Hmm...I can recall in Asian history, Egyptian history, European history (most of Europe's royal family are all distantly related to each other), and so forth. I know a Muslim family that the husband is married to his first cousin. They immigrated here from Pakistan...
