Which hotel did you stay at in Las Vegas?

Never been to Las Vegas. :dunno: Perhaps I will check this thread again in the future if I ever plan to visit Las Vegas for vacation.

i stayed at the prestigious Uncle Johnny's Family Feedbag and Motel (no running water).

Well, You can visit LV in once then may take rent car to go several canyons in Utah and Arizona. They are beautiful scency and more mountains. You never be boring to see.

You call it a shithole, they call it "A Las Vegas Classic!" :giggle:

I really didn't think it was bad at all. We walked around in the MGM and the Bellagio and they were REALLY nice, but the rooms there also cost 250-750 per night. Noooooooooo thanks

its cheap because its in the shithole of las vegas.

I've always stayed at the Excalibur. It's cheesy but cheap. And when I'm busy doing stuff around town I don't care about the room/hotel. :)

When I went to Las Vegas last year, I stayed at someone's townhouse instead.

I did tour the city though.

I don't really know which hotel is best, but I wouldn't mind staying at the place that has the Star Trek Promenade. :)

I've never stayed at a hotel there, although during a road trip to SoCal, we made a pit stop to gamble briefly at the Sahara ;) Also liked the cyber speedway.

I stayed in the Sahara. It was CHEAP, $50 for the weeknight, 100 or so weekend.

Its on the North side of the strip, next to the Stratosphere. But The monorail connects right to it. So, for a few bucks you can hop on that and it will take you anywhere on the strip in just a couple of minutes.

I read somewhere that hotels out there are considerably cheap because people go there to blow money in the casino, so they are making a lot of money that way.

well its been a long time since i been to vegas but the northside of the strip from circus circus, the sahara, etc is seperated by a couple miles to the stratosphere hotel and casino. That in-between area is a pretty rough neighborhood from what im told. Gangbangers, drugs, etc. Ive read where people have walked from the strat to the main strip area and get mugged. The middle to south end of the strip is MUCH nicer and obviously ridiculously more expensive. The MGM isnt bad for the price though and i know of an off strip hotel called the Orleans thats supposed to be pretty rockin. Only a mile off strip and really affordable.

Not visit there since late 1990's.

1- Motel 6
2- Circus Circus
3- Harrah
4- Stratosphere
5- Flamingo
6- Mirage
7- Sands - gone
8- Dunes (I think correct name of hotel) - gone

Stayed at Palace Station (shit place to stay where USADB hosted two years ago) and Monte Carlo (very NICE place to stay there since i went to Las Vegas with my parents - they picked that hotel out).
I would like to go to the hotel that have good deal for next LV trip! HOPE my husband can go since he never went to LV. We are trying to go to LV in October but we want to see UFC event if they are going to have one in Oct. 2008

I went to Vegas twice and stayed at the Imperial Palace. They have the Deal-entertainers. They are dealers and they also impersonate some star, such as Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Rich Little Elvis and many more. The impersonaters appear on a small stage separately and sing a song that is sang by their "star".

Venetian Hotel

They are great! I like Luxor's elevator.

Plus my family and I take helicopter tours around LV at night time. It's neat. We never spend any money on casino. :)

My family and I stayed at Bellagio for 3 days and never again. VERY EXPENSIVE TO STAY IN FOR 3 DAYS!

Have been there some of the times because my parents and my grandparents have some business to do at there for the World Jewelry Center, and also my anut and uncle live there too. I never had slept in a hotel in Las Vegas, but an resort and can't remmy name for it oops lol.

Hello, I flew from Vancouver, British Columbia to Las Vegas, Neveda for visiting my deaf girlfriend three year ago. We met at Treasure Island Hotel on April 2005 when I was so happy to see her so much in my life. I saw many casino and pirate ship there. It was so beautiful place, really amazing things I had ever seen in my life so I loved it so much. We didn't stay hotel there but I stayed over at her place at Henderson for free.

You asked a question about hotel in LV that into my mind remembering I had a very wonderful time to date with her at LV. Just thought I wanted to share with you about that.

Thank you, Miss-Delectable
