What do you do for a living?

I am college student studying Rehabilitation Counseling for the Deaf. I know some of Deaf people think VR sucks, but I do want to make difference for Deaf individuals. I am very aware that some Deaf people are not satisfied with hearing counselors on variety issues. I don't blame them cuz I was one of them.

Anyway, I have NINE courses left to get MS degree and zoom out of expensive SF!!

I am employed at Defense of Department for twenty-two years. I may take some class at RIT in Rochester, NY and Northeast University. I have no motivation in Information System Technology. I did rather work with people as Human Service. My agency pays my tuition. I can't change another major, which is not related to my job duties.

I used to work at Mental Health agency for 8 months. That is how; I admire to work with people who are Deaf as much easier to communication. When you help those people, it makes you feel good about yourself. Those clients admire and trust you because you did care and cherish them.

I resigned second job because I need to focus on my two teenager boys. They really need me so badly during the evening and weekend. When they leave from my nest. I may go back to work at Mental Health in the future. Single Mom is very difficult for me !

I can't wait to retire from DoD Government agency within 10 more years !

You poor thing... my ex works for the DoD as a Unix programmer. I sincerely hope you've never had the unfortunate experience of meeting him. ;)

Hello.

I work as a Community Advocate for a local Deaf human services organization. I meet with Deaf people daily and it's great.

Enjoy.

<---working 2 jobs 7 days a week

Main job is Inventory Control Specialist/Quality Control Auditor at a warehouse fer a Southern clothing company.

I get to play with scanner guns, sorters, mess with numbers, figure where my parts have went astray, and one job perk....looking at bras before they go to the store!

The other happens to be doin' dirty work at a BBQ place down the road from the warehouse. Its just a temporary part time job until the wife have our baby born.

I am a student. I am a student for a living, ha ha.

I will be at gallaudet in 2004. as of right now, im a student of Indiana school for the deaf. I am going to be senior in next fall.

what can i say, WOW!

After I left Gallaudet University for stupid reasons, I was a housewife, an independent sales representative for one of the largest women's retail companies, and a part-time (and temporary) Wendy's employee til I left my ex-husband. For the past three years, I have been working at a government industry as a production seamstress and am making decent money to live a sufficient life. The name of the plant I currently work is the Industries of the Blind.

Next year, my life once again will alter after I get married. I'm looking into returning to finish my college education at a different university or open a kennel management business if possible. Or I could work at home doing some computer work for my future husband's businesses. I won't know until next year. :)

I have done volunteer work for the Deaf Community. I also had served on the board for Deaf and Deaf-Blind organizations. Currently, I am a board member in the Board of Directors for the Communication Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CSDHH). It's a private agency that serves the county's d-Deaf/HOH residents and works closely with the county comissioners. Yes, county and state politics are heavily involved.

Before I became a mother... I used to work as Veterinary Assistant for almost five years.... but now I am a full time mother and housewife until my little angel go to school then I ll go back to work at the veterinary hospital :D

!!! After I left Gallaudet University, I took courses in animal science at another school. Now, I have a career diploma in animal science. Yes, the degree certified me as an animal scientist (better known as an animal specialist). This is the reason I may consider starting a kennel management business.
