Summer Olympics 2008

Three thing China failed after won the bid in 2001 and they promise:

• Improve human's right
° Turn out that they kick resident's home out without paid.

• Clean pollution
° It's still dirty in air

• Freedom internet access
° Not fully internet access, how can tourist and media use?
 
they still have bad smog but is it gone yet? last time I saw their live clip during NFL Preseason game last Sunday with very bad smog and thunderstorm... I am sure alot outdoor athletes are concern abt it...

I agree with you. Olympics should be in Hong Kong's New Territory and Hong Kong Island. I don't know why they wanted Beijing with risk health. This is very crowd city! Because of capitol of China.
 
22 hours left? Olympic already started with Soccer event... USA lost to Norway (2-0, women) yesterday and USA beat Japan (1 to 0, men)...

Nope, China is few hours behind me, so it is mid afternoon for them!
 
1 and 1/2 hour to go until open ceremony for China time.

but... won't be on NBC until tonight, I just checked guide on CCTV-9 and it sucks...

No, my post time was 10:33 pm EST (USA time), it means 10:33 am for China on Friday morning.

Now, it's 6:28 pm for China.
 
Few months ago, I read news that deaf chinese dancers will be in Olympic.
Last night, we watched opening ceremonies.

Still not see any deaf chinese dancers at opening ceremonies
