Yeah, that is why I watch the orignal Star Trek tv programs (and other programs) to catch up on what they were saying.

New Trek books
I enoyed the book adaptation of the movie and now I'm seeing details about books with the new crew. Four are scheduled for next year.

I heard that the next movie could be out for Christmas 10, but I'd rather wait than see a rush job that kills Trek for another ten years.
