Nice. I like all kinds of skyscrapers. I did go into the Arch in St. Louis, MO several times, and man, the vehicles were like toy cars!!

I went into the Seattle "tower" all the way to the top for a restaurant. It was awesome! I have been into many skyscrapers when I was growing up. I want to try the Liberty Statue someday!! ;)

Yeah, but have you ever had drinks in the Signature Lounge? It's on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building. Every time I go to Chicago I have to go there at least once, the view is fantastic. There is nothing like it in the world.

I love this place SO much, that 2 weeks after the 9-11 terrorist attacks, I was up there on the 96th story watching Chicago and drinking my gin. My theory is, if I die there, at least I'll be somewhere I love.

i love any tall buildings. no favorite. sometimes i admire philip johnson's own design buildings.

The tallest buildings I have been to:
World Trade Centre (numerous times, as I lived in Newark and took the PATH train to the city all the time)
Empire State Building
Chrysler Building
Rockefeller Centre
Sears Tower/Hancock Tower whatever it is called now
John Hancock Tower in Boston???
Tour Effeil in Paris
Tour Montparnasse in Paris
Washington Monument
CN Tower (but didnt go up, too expensive)
Mannheimer Fernsehnsturm, Mannheim, Germany
Cologne Cathedral
Frankfurt Romer Cathedral
Chartres Cathedral

ive been up at the:

World Trade Center
Sears Tower
Statue of Liberty
Empire State building
DC Monument
The Needle (in Seattle)
Stratosphere Hotel (in Las Vegas)
The Arch

what abt BRIDGES qq 1 that i thought ROCKED was the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! :thumb: ive also been over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland countless time going to the beach :D and another bridge in NY -- im unable to remmy the name of that one -- Key Bridge qq :dunno: will someone help me out on this one qq i was also amazed on the structure of the bridge in St Louis MO near the Arch right on the MS River -- that was built in 1800s somewhere around there but OMFG the archetecture of that bridge was amazing! (im referring to the 1 nearest the Casino Queen (or was it the Princess on the MO side not the IL side of the river) riverboat casino as i recall there were 3 near the Arch -- i dont recall the name of that bridge :( )

BUMP IT UP! This is a VERY old thread, but I'm gonna re-fresh it! I'm gonna post 2 pictures of Bellevue skyline (east of Seattle) I used 10x optical zoom and other one with 40x digital zoom, whoa extreme close up! That's a skyline about 10-12 miles away from where I am. This is with my new digital camera I got in the mail yesterday to upgrade from my old digital camera that's 4 years old.

10x optical zoom, that's the Cascades mountain range as a backdrop behind
Bellevue's skyline!
10xbellevue3eb.jpg

40x digital zoom, that's One Lincoln tower under construction which will be 450 feet tall! It will be the tallest building in Bellevue once completed.

Sear Towers (didn't go up since no time and no cash during that time)
Empire State Building
Statue of Liberty
Space Needle in Seattle
Washington (in D.C.)
Some tall buildings in Reno, NV and Vegas but I can't remember which one

I think that's all but I don't remember if there any more. My mind is getting old lol!

Golden Gate Bridge is really awesome. I've been on it many time and even I walked across! My BF, me and my son went there right before 9/11 (I'll say a few days before). My BF never been to S.F. so he had to grab it since we were on way back to Los Angeles. Next time we go up again, we'll stay few days to explore! I love go S.F. but live there NO THANKS!
