awww The Lover Birds are having some Disagreement.. Hey Jamie and Megladon Kiss and Make Up. :giggle:

Disagreement does not mean fight or anything bad. Its fun to have debates over things and try to prove yourself right. Its totaly different to have an arguement over something and fight about it, this is not a fight (and really who's going to fight over rice?)

Yeah, I think rice and pasta are the same because they contain the same carbohydrates and too much of it makes you fat, but too much of vegies never made anyone fat! :P

lmao.. I'll fight over rice! ;)

Hmmm...interesting....

Let's see, rice is treated like a plant from the ground and eaten like as if it was pasta (even can be cooked like pasta noodles, etc.) and don't see a choice for 'both'...guess I'm gonna flip a coin here...heads for veggie, and tails for pasta....hold on...*flippin da coin here* and it is: Heads! So my choice is going with 'veggie'.... :laugh2:

Ok, so flowers are a type of grain, how about watermellon? Because it grows from a seed only means its a plant. I knew it couldnt qualify as a pasta because pasta is a man made product, while rice is natural, thus a strong contender for vegi.
Well, lets see.....a lot of things grow from seeds whether it is a vegetable or fruit or flower or whatever..rice is not a vegetable, it is just a grain like wheat, oats etc..I asked around and people tell me it is just a grain period. :)

LOL dont make me beat your ass over rice! :nana: And know what, vegi is still in the lead, 9 to 5 to 5 :nana:

Again, it is just a mtter of opinion. If you read the posts, you'll realize we've gone into it being a grain, which is not an option right now. :)

look at Cheri's website over rice... Yes we know that rice is from plant but it still belong pasta (carb group).

I say Rice is a grain. Pasta comes from grain. Rice isn't pasta.

Rice is made directly from the earth. Pasta is man-made.

Vegetable is also made from the earth, but rice isn't a vegatable.

What a mouthful out of me. :D

Who cares? The rice has the characteristics similiar to pasta. High in carb and we cannot exactly throw raw rice in salad. It gotta be pasta, right?

What about vegetarians? They insist on avoiding eating meat, but the very word suggests that they are complusive vegetable eaters, not necessarily "meatless-ian."

Life's funny and love is even funnier. Let's get on over with.
