Believe it or not, I spotted that by chance. I was headed north on Halstead when I saw it. That yellow cube is from there, too.

Yes, we do get them. That particular one caused a lot of inconvenience when it happened a few years back. We don't get them often, though.

One of the causes of sinkholes is from building debris being buried at home construction sites back before it became illegal. The debris would rot away and then the ground eventually give way.
