I believe that Neo is right about Thunderbird (Mozilla's mail software).

I also have one for my Apple computer, and one for my sister's IBM PC.

Thunderbird software was a little complication for me to set it up. After that, everything was okay - I think that it is almost same concept on Microsoft's mail software. My own personal choice is Apple's Mail software. It is nothing wrong with the Thunderbird. I hope you like it.
