have you recieve this in email ? How do I stop this?
I keep on putting them on block, but always come with different user names and emails, how do you stop them? I am sick of it.
Anyone get that?

Any suggestion ?

I don't get any junk mails in my inbox but I do get them in my bulk mail, and it hasn't been a problem for me because all I have to do is click the empty button, and it's all GONE :bye: ! no worries and no stress here! :naughty:
 
Fairly easy! But you MIGHT not like this solution.

Create multiple E mail address for yourself. Make a couple E mail address that you would GUARD them as private E-mail addresses. Don't advertise them, but can pass to limited friends and families. Then create other one that you would use for work, and semi public. The final e mail would be public, like job search, etc. Because that public e mail address would expose to ANYONE, even to spammers. Once that pu lic e mail address gets too much spams, just delete and create new one so that you can post new one anyway. You won't have to tell you friends over again.
It works for me, but not `100% foolproof

I get those spam e-mails,too. :pissed:

Like you said get a "private" e-mail for friends & family only. That one I have,
but some how or another they still manage to find me, & sends me their stupid spam, e-mail!. :pissed:

Like "Viagra, Pharmacy stuff, software stuff, etc... I do have fire walls, & a viruse guard, but I am sure that doesn't help either.

Is there some kind of software each of us can have, like something similar to a "caller ID Block"? except for computers use only, where others don't see our address link??

Firewalls and anti virus won't hep, they are just designed to protect your computer, but NOT the internet. Once your e mail is out in the internet, that is where they left unprotected. I am not sure how you got the problem.

Anyway, the anti spam program seems to work for me. So here's the link http://www.cloudmark.com amd download free trial. Check out for yourself

I have the same problem. It could be targeted on your post on any forum on the internet.

I could set up a filter to bounce it. But, something that the company recognizes a bounced email, and then the company switched a different email address and forward it to me. It repeated the same thing over and over. I finally figure out that we all have to do is to delete them instead of click bounce or block them - this will reduce our junk emails.

One more thing about the pill ads - this ad contains a html format in your email that link to their website automatically. (i.e. automatically downloading the pictures in the email.) That could be a problem. If you are familiar with this email's subject without opening it, just delete it immediately.

^Angel^ - Now you see that you have a bulk folder. The bulk does not have a bounce program. This let you to do your job to trash them manually. Usually, the bounce program is not successful because companies always switch different email addresses.
 
One good suggestion, when you receive bulk junk email, do not open them. When you open junk email, you actually acknowledge that you accept receiving more junk email. It's called "spamming" and also you acknowledge your email is correct by opening the junk email. Just simply delete the junk emails and you will notice the mass numbers of them reducing in time.
 
Spam isn't 100% blockable.

The only way you could block it 100% is if you set up your email account (Yahoo or Hotmail) at the highest setting. That setting only allows people in your address book to send you emails. However, this poses as two problems. One, people who know your email and are your friends but aren't in your address book... can't send you emails. Two, there are ways of spammers sending emails with fake cover email addresses so that your filter sees the address and assumes it's someone from your address book and let it through. So far, my Gmail and Yahoo have a pretty good filter on the lowest setting.

Another problem with filters is that people get through by using words like vi@g@r@ or p3nis. There are always ways to get through and nothing is 100% blockable. What if your friend wanted to send you a penis joke and your filter was set to ignore penis spam, you would never get that joke. :(

Spams automatically moved to my spam folder. Once I look in my spam folder and see the name of the sender that I don't know, I deleted it. Its not too much hassling. I still get them, but I don't open them. :)

You are exact accruate that anti-virus won't even helpful with computer while it is on internet..

That's why I removed anti-virus program from my PC.. I have no problem with computer included internet without anti-virus program for 5 years.. But I did not aware that firewall is not helpful as tool for computer protect.. what is so waste? thank you for infom about firewall

Even though, the internet Yahoo pop up program is great that I had kept for long time to now as always.. ;)

DHB or DHB65 is fine, does not matter 2 me.

Well, if set up firewall correctly you would have less problem. I have set up firewall and create forward to jam any potential hacker into fake IP. Meaning when it was forward to "Phantom PC" using that IP address. Hacker will get no response and trying to figure out what is going on. PC have thousands of ports, hackers love to use port to hack into your PC. But with correctly set up forwarding. It will always go to dead end.

That anti-pop ups offered by Yahoo definetly helps, but I think there is strings attached, and you MIGHT not be aware of it... Yahoo MIGHT be snooping in your PC to figure out what your interests, buying habits, surfing habits then may drop in ads that shows up on yahoo page designed to target to you. I have it too for long time so Im leaving it on. :)

DHB65, really? I thought that Yahoo's own pop up program doing to be prevent any snooping into my PC. How do you know that Yahoo steal as advantage about my persoal interests and personal surfing habits on internet ?
 
I know it exist, but not as noticeable. What do you expect when comes to freebies? There is always strings attached with freebies.
