I guess you didn't look long enough.
Jesus is Creator of all
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.Your Interpetation, didnt say Jesus is the creator.
Jesus is Savior
John 1
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 4
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Jesus PBUH will come to kill the beast, he will come to "save" us from the beast. Have you thought maybe that is logical interpetation. Im just comparing bible and quran. I havent compare torah along with bible and quran yet. That should be interesting.
Jesus is the Son of God
John 1
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus and God are One
John 5
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. One of the 10 commandments says there is only one god and again depending on the bible because of the translations in various bibles that may have changed its true meaning.
I'm not attacking you as a person. I'm showing you the Truth.
If anyone attacks the character or nature of Jesus, they should remember what Jesus said:
"He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him."
If a person doesn't honor Jesus as God, then that person doesn't honor God either.
Full context, please.
Jesus was teaching His disciples how to pray. The following verses are called the "model prayer". Jesus was teaching the disciples what they were supposed to say, not what He Jesus was supposed to say. Notice the part about sins. Jesus never sinned so obviously He wouldn't pray about Himself, "forgive us our debts (sins)".Your interpetation again and have u compared this to some bibles to see if there are any changes. I wonder if theres a possiblity if one can compare recent new bible to the most orginal bible and see if the translation didnt unintentionally changed the interpetations of the bible itself and its true meanings?] I know in the torah, gospel and quran has some similar statements/teachings.
Matthew 6
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. In the quran, its similar.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
