I'm mad at Blues Clues

No, They don't have digital channels (ATSC) until NTSC is shut down on Feb 17, 2009.

There's nothing in places, all of them are NTSC when running on Dish or Directv.

Except if you have HD receiver to get HD channel (all are local channel) then HD channel is ATSC supported.

Ah, I didn't understand at first. Sorry. True, if you don't have HD receiver, you don't get ATSC signals for most things. They do have ATSC local channels for some areas is what I was saying. But you're right--most cable and sat channels are still NTSC--it's all they have bandwidth for.

Not really, all DVD players don't have own CC code in it, only made from TV.

My DVD player and TV both have captioning capabilities. It's a requirement when we purchase them. My husband doesn't need them, and has had to get used to it, but we won't buy without. There are no CC or subtitle options. Trust me. I looked!

:( Though it appears that the main character uses a little bit of sign in the movie....interesting.
