No captioning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn Nickelodion.

I am overseas and most shows on AFN(USA channels for soldiers) are not captioned and Blues Clues is always captioned.

Paramount/Viacom/MTV Network sucks because no 100% captioning :rifle:
I hate them! Disney is best for now.

That's why I prefer DVDs over Television shows. Television always giving people works, DVD have less work for people.

You misunderstood...

This show is ALWAYS to displayed on CC.

It supposed to be from tv issue, not blame on network.

Oh, my mistake! I forget about your cable company is disabled your closed-captioning for Nickeledon, don't blame Nickeledon. I got
disabled on Nick GAS, MTV2 is no longer captioning-- maybe instead for
digital captioning??? I need a new TV set. :|

NTSC isn't shut down until Feb 2009, just 1 1/2 year to left.

If so then would be affected for Dish/Directv that receiver is support SD channels via analog only.

It wasn't from cable companies, that's other issue on tv set.

MTV2 and Nick GAS is CC supported on my HDTV.

Thank you, my sister got a newer SDTV with CC is support on DT like
Comcast channel between 240 to 250 for non-HDTV that not available on
regular TV, weird.

You know that can't beat Comcast's price on HD channels, also how cost is... $5 per monthly.

Directv is $10 per monthly and Dish is $20 per monthly for HD channels.

Both of Dish and Directv don't offers digital channel on local area.

It's probably the cable company or your television.

Some cable companies change settings before distributing the shows. :(

Most DVDs have the CC option under subtitles in English for the HOH or Hearing Impaired. (note they never use deaf??)

You might try that option on your DVD, and is it possible that some DVD players do not support CC??

As for networks changing the CC options before destributing the shows is a ripoff and a diservice IMO.

The DVD...........does not have captions. I don't have cable.

Now, it's time for you to get Dish or Directv then subscribe it.

Don't need bother on DVD issue because some of them don't have CC or subtitles.

Not really, all DVD players don't have own CC code in it, only made from TV.

Depends where you live. They do in many places, and are adding many places. (Both companies.)

No, They don't have digital channels (ATSC) until NTSC is shut down on Feb 17, 2009.

There's nothing in places, all of them are NTSC when running on Dish or Directv.

Except if you have HD receiver to get HD channel (all are local channel) then HD channel is ATSC supported.
