Hotdogs - Do you know what you really eating?

The best thing about this:

You guys got me to read up on hot dogs, and I can say that I have learned a lot.

Its pretty easy to replace Sodium Nitrite with Celery juices. Celery juices does the same thing as Sodium Nitrite, without the cancerous results.

But.... whatever floats your boat. I'll be over here eating some pink taco while you guys enjoy your wieners.

I found the ingredients at Hebrew National's website.

Can you tell me what Sodium Lacate, Sodium Diacetate, Sodium Erythorbate, and especially Sodium Nitrite is?

Sodium Nitrite is something that is linked to cancer. 67% of the colon and pancreatic cancer is linked to Sodium Nitrite, although not yet proven in humans. One day it will be.

Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is something else I wouldn't touch - first glance at google confirmed it.

I just love seeing through companies "advertisements to be all "good."" I love it.

Well, I guess there is one more thing off my menu. :(

Oh god... this thread cracked me up.

Hey, isn't there a Pink Taco restaurant?

Not fair at all, since men have that and Hooters :(

The ladies are stuck with Weinersnitchel, I demand justice!!
