Happy Anniversary, Baby Doll

Happy Anniversary to you both!!

Three years ago today, Mayflower and I drove to Las Vegas and met with the fat Elvis. It’s been a hell of a three years—lots of ups and downs, financial problems, dying pets, lunatic employers, and lunatic parents. But through it all, you’ve stuck by me. So, dear Mayflower, this Bud’s for you. No, scratch that—I better come up with something a little more endearing. Sweetie, even though you’re 1000 miles away in Washington right now, you’re right here in my heart. Time and distance can’t keep us apart. I loved you three years ago, I love you now, and I will continue to love you long into the future. Nothing will ever stand in the way of that. Happy anniversary sweetie—everything will eventually work itself out in the end. Just make it home safe and sound. My heart will wait as long as it takes.

OMG, I'm all choked up here. Sweetie, you're right in my heart, too. More than anything, I wanted to be with you. Today was a tough day being apart from you. I ended up spending the day alone with my dad instead. He was a sweetie pie. My mom wasn't up to any company today. So Sweetie, it is now official; 3 years for us and 53 years for my parents. We sure been through a lot. I want to say "Thank you" for the sweetest thing you can say to me. Most of all, I am really looking forward to coming home soon and to be back in your arms. Mwaaah! Love You, Chimpie

BabyDoll

Hmm...all the fireworks (that is when she gets back home) and all that jazz will take place...if a card find its way to Vancouver, Washington--surely the lights will be dimmed, candles a-blazing, baskets full of bananas, clean linens, etc.,....then again...if a card hasn't joined thousand of other mail enroute--umm--dude, what are you waiting for?! Time to monkey-lick the stamps (ofc, it's a BIGGG oversized card,) and get it out.....TODAY.

Then by golly, you'll thank your lucky monkeystars that you did it as well as creating a wonderful thread for her.

Also, congratulations to the two of you and wish you both many many more wonderful days sharing life together. :)

Thank you so much for your wonderful post, Roadrunner. Just maybe, Chimpie will follow your advice. If you only know how hard it has been to train a chimpanzee, and also to be married to one.

This from a guy who sports a Barbie backpack. And Patrice in still waiting for you in the shed out back of her momma’s house. I told her you were gonna rub her down in bacon fat and roll her in the mud.
