Going over speed limit....

still pissing around?

lol.

I usually drove at 64mph, over 55mph on Parkway. (I don't go at 65mph over 55mph) I was barely at the cop's maximum limit. I whizzed by cop and nothing happened. I did same with my 2002 Suzuki VL800 motorcycle.

I did get warning ticket when I rode VL800 at 65mph over 55mph at State Park area. They did not have speed limit sign anywhere but entrance point!! Grrrr. I told cop that they should have sign so I would know what speed limit I should be riding. He knows. He wrote type of vehicle on ticket "Harley Davidson" when it's actually Suzuki Volusia. It sure looks very like Harley. I showed it to my wife and friends at camp and they laughed. What a goofy cop.

It's stated in DMV handbook that if there is no speed limit sign post, we go by common speed limit established by state/federal government.

for example -
25 mph - School zones, business or residential districts
35 mph – Suburban business and residential districts
50 mph – Non-posted rural roadways
55 mph – Certain state and interstate highways, as posted
65 mph – Certain interstate highways, as posted

Yes, I'm talking about leeway where cops allow you to go over certain speed limit.

Some people on state highway did go 85mph at 70mph posted limit and cop didn't even bother to pull them over.

Basically I sometime teeter at the maximum allowed speed limit that cop allowed without being pulled over and ticketed
