Since I've been working alot of hours during the cook-offs last summer, my left foot seem to bother me as much as my right foot does, feeling horrible pains and swelling, but for the past few days, I'm experiences " electric shock " on the bottom of my left foot, and this symptoms seem to appear and disappear off and on lately, have anyone ever experiences this before? and what exactly does this cause? and do I have to see a regular doctor or a foot doctor, forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question but I 've never been to a foot doctor before.... :ugh:

I dont kow either too hehe

My cousin just emailed me today and it shocked me that she had sugery her feet cuase her feet was swellon got infection posion. she told me that she was almost died but she is doig fine now right now she is tired cause of she took the meds and her husband took care of her. I hope so she getting better :) ..

Maybe you should go to doctor to check your foot?? :dunno:

You probably should go to your regular doctor first. Then, if that doctor thinks it is necessary, he/she will refer you to a specialist.

Ok Thanks, I guess I'm feeling that I'm the only one going though this huh?...

I agreed with Reba, that you should go to your reg doctor to check up until your doctor says that you need to seeing speical doctor for your feet only. That happened to me before when I got my ankles problem during I stood too long and etc like that, my doctor told me to go to seeing special doctor for ankles and I did.

Nah your not only one :) .. check with the doctor :)

Angel, although it doesn't sound like your symptoms but I hope it's just a spur or something like that. Hope your doctor is able to help you.

I honestly don't know but Roadrunner thinks it's swelling of a nerve... :dunno:

I'm looking thru google now to see if I could find the same symptoms that I'm having with my left foot, hopefully I will find something here...

I get that sometimes too. my foot would hurt if I stand up for a long time. I think you should see your reg. dr and let your dr refer you to a specialist. It could be a pinch nerve in your foot. My foot sometimes feel like its broken right below my big toe. I get that every once in a while.

possible heal spur or not enough cushion in your arch of your shoes. You need to find a comfortable shoes that support your arch and your heels. I had that problem. If you use men shoes, their shoes are not made for women. You need to get women shoe, if you are wearing women, than that shoes may not be the right kind. when you try them on, be sure to put both on and walk around ( if payless shoes, no problem -- if other stores like walmart or target - just stay with the shoes area). I used to walk a lot and I had to find the right shoes with plenty of cushion to support my feet and arch of my feet too.

I have problems with my right foot but not my left. My arch has fallen a little but not flatfooted. Then the tendon that runs from heal towards toes gets hard. What I do is taking something round and run it under my foot. I use a tennis ball cuz it works great. Go barefoot and put tennis ball on floor. I then run my foot over it so the ball rolls up and down the bottom of my foot. It softens that tendon and the pain goes away.

I already looked up on " spur " through google and it didn't say anything about electric shocks, so I'm not sure if that's it :dunno:

I think ur getting what my mom had, its a pinched nerve of the heel/foot, best have to checked out with your reg dr and if it is the case ask him/her to refer u to the podiatist ( foot doc) so they can set up a regimen to make yr foot better. Sorry abt the pain you are going thru its not fun and its painful to go thru the walking days like that. good luck.

Foot doctor? I only know is Dermatology or Neurology...

Dermatology ist specialist for skin.
Neurology is specialist for nerves.

Check with your family doctor first before she/he can transfer you to Dermatology or Neurology.

Good Luck... Keep update with news...because it's interesting to me.

What about foot bath?

I use it with dead sea salt or lavendar oil to soak my tiring and swelling foot after long walking or dry foot during summer time...
