Mine is The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. But so any of you have like that one book you can read over and over and still like it. Or just a book that maybe you juat love even if you have only read it once.

I have a lot of favorite books. I love reading. I like coming of age memoirs. Some of my favorites are- The Lovely Bones,by Alice Sebold, The Glass Castle,by Jeanette Walls, She's Come Undone,by Wally Lamb, and Burn Down The Ground, by Kambri Crews. Kambri Crews is a CODA who wrote a memoir about her chaotic childhood.

I recently read "The Book Thief" by Mark Zusak. Very good and definitely recommended. It takes you on an emotional roller coaster journey throughout the book and it's heart wrenching at times, but it's amazing. :thumb:

I don't think have one favorite of anything.

'The heart is a lonely hunter' by Carson McCullers is one of mine .
' A death in the family ', most John Steinbeck books. This are few of my favorite books.

I love the books by JD Robb. And the Harry Potter series. I still reread those.

But, my favorite book of all time is The Secret Garden, by Burnett. I forgot how many times I have read it, I have seen every movie (along with a sequel I don't recommend), I gave it to my niece for her birthday a couple of years ago, and I started reading it to my children. (They lost interest before we got past a few chapters. Maybe when they're a little older I will try again.)

I did read The Glass Castle book 2 years ago. I would want to read Burn Down The Ground one. I did not know Kambri was a CODA. Thank for sharing!!

Burn Down the ground was a very good book! I couldn't put it down. Also the Glass Castle was good too! Message me after you read Burn Down The Ground to let me know how you liked it. Do you use a Kindle?

All by Arthur Conan Doyle, Dean Koontz and Stephen King.

I've only read a few King books, but the all ended so weirdly I'm not real motivated for more. Koontz is pretty awesome. I loooooved The Bad Place, they should do a movie, Darkfall? Was that the one with the little demons?

I don't even have a favorite genre. I have favorite authors, somewhere along the line decided I liked series more than stand alones though. I like Harlan Coben and Greg Isles, he's particularly cool because he doesn't even stick with a genre, he's all over the place. Honestly I can't even answer this question, I cant even pick a favorite series.

I can pick a favorite character in book though. Tyrion Lanaster, from the The Song of Fire and Ice. Also known as the Game of Thrones on HBO.

Series I wasn't fond of? That's much easier. Twilight, yeah embarrassingly I tried it, it was horrific I didn't finish that. I think I'm the only person in the world that didn't like The Hunger Games trilogy. I really really really disliked almost all of the characters. The author isn't great at dialogue either. That's an extremely important element of a book for me.

My Favorite books change with my mood.

Favorite: Flowers For Algernon
Second Favorite: Book Thief
Third Favorite: A Series of Unfortunate Events.

I liked the movie The Green Miles , I never read the book . I never got into books that where series either. The Bobbies Twins was popular when I was younger but I never read them.

Do coloring books count? :laugh2:

No seriously though, I am a book worm! I read almost anything as long as I can get into it. :) I love Stephen King and have read all of his books ( He's been going down hill over the past few years ) However, his son, Joe Hill.... that man is GOOD! I hope he comes out with more books in the future! :D

Flowers For Algernon. I had to read that book in reading class in seventh grade. We were supposed to read a chapter a day,and then discuss the chapter and leave the book at school. I liked the book so much, I took it home and read the rest in one night. I liked the book. Have you seen the 2 movies based in the book? One is Charly, made in 1968 and the other is a tv movie made in 2000 named Flowers for Algernon. It stars Matthew Modine.

I knew there was a black abd white movie but never saw it. Is it good?

I saw Charly years ago at school, and I remember liking it, but that was in 1986 when I saw it. The TV movie from 2000 I haven't seen but would like to see. I'm going to see if Netflix has either movie for streaming, and I'm going to check YouTube also.

I did the same thing. It turned out that the class was reading the censored version, so I was a bit confused as to why they were skipping parts. I've seen the first movie. edit: I liked the movie nearly as much as I liked the book. I don't think I'll see the other one, though.
