could it be a time traveller?

That would be the case if he knew he was being filmed. What if he didn't know he was being filmed?
Or it was a normal shooting place, he might have been thinking nothing than that.

She is using a Lutz Ferrando ear trumpet, a kind of a hearing aid. But it was used for hearing only, not talking, and the woman in the footage is doing a lot of talking.

An early 20th century telescopic ear trumpet in its original crocodile skin etui. A high quality piece which would have been expensive in its day. This pocket hearing aid was designed to be used in its case which is open at one end allowing sounds to be transmitted through the deco style grill and which accommodates the telescopic ear piece at the other end. The grille is marked "Lutz Ferrando & Co Buenos Aires".

Cell phones would not be operating in that time line because of the lack of cell towers as well as satellite technology.

As for the time traveller, when you watch the woman walking by, she is perfectly dressed for 1928.

If it was a time traveller trying to fit in they would not talk on a mobile. I think it must have been the old fashioned hearing aid.

That "woman" actually looks like a man to me.

Those could be either Ray Ban or Tag Heur Pilots or "blinkered" sunglasses. The hair is the right cut, but where is his Wildroot pomade hair cream? lol

If he is a time traveller - can anyone identify the t-shirt he is wearing? Maybe he was just a bachelor that didn't have time to do laundry that day and just put on what smelled clean and started a trend that became popular later? :giggle:

Look at the collar line. You will see that it is worn over a collared shirt. It is thick. That is no tee shirt, but a school letter vest. Vests that were knitted with the schools letter were very popular. Both sexes wore these vests. So, trendy glasses, letter vest and dishevelled hair with no pomade? .... college kid?

(Remembering Brylcreem - a little dab will do ya)
