oh dear... i'm just glad that you didn't get hurt

Me too... The worst part is noticing that I am not as tough or commanding as I think I am. I didn't have a choice of the drunk escorting me across the street.

Botti, you very tough, commanding. I will like have you bodyguard, you fierce!!!

You thought you could intimidate him with...your ability to use words? :P

I think you were better off doing as you did. Who knows what a pissed off drunk would do? I like to think I'm tough, too - but in that type of circumstance just getting out safely is what is best. I'm glad you got out safely, albeit shaken.

I'm sure that Bott made the right decision under the circumstances. I would have been very upset, too. A person should be able to go out in public without being assaulted.

I confess - I am really, really hating the commercialism of Christmas. People have just lost the true sight of the meaning.

I confess, I had to look up what a Squinkies is.

You would think someone frantically signing " no vampire! " and trying to pull away while saying "no" would give a guy a clue you don't want help. :hmm:

I still haven't figured it out. All I can see are tiny little things to go on a pencil having their own town. A little heavier that the Sweet Streets things my daughter used to have.

Should have had the garlic necklace...:hmm:

Here is a real one. Tonight I went out to get a sandwich because the bully thread was upsetting me.

As many people know, I live in a commercial area. So on the way to get a sandwich I passed a bar.

A one armed drunk popped out and tried to steer me in the bar. I ended up being escorted across the street, which was not busy and into the food shop.

I was terrified, and I thought something bad would happen to me. So at that point, I really thought "Yes, it does suck, being deaf and legally blind."

He was like a giant, drunken, scary boy scout, but I didn't need or want his help, and I was really shaken up.

 I'd hate to have that happen to me. I'm glad you weren't run over or anything like that.
