Best or weirdest movie ever...

Y Tu Mama
about a young lady dying of cancer.

I can remember seeing some of Y Tu Mamma Tambien but it was actually a little too "different" for me to sit through...something like Son of the Bride was more to my liking; it's the story of a man going through a mid life crises while his parents are going through one of their own, with his mother's struggle with Alzheimer's disease:

Ricardo Darin is one of my favorite actors, and he and Cecilia Roth, another favorite of mine, to my sheer joy worked together in a little known gem, Kamachata - a film about the dictatorship in Argentina and the profound affect it had on one family as told through a child. Everyone in the cast was just wonderful:

Arthouse flick.
It's one of the few movies I would call 'bizarre'.

I have tried several times to post in here with my phone, it won't let me. Must be all the huge you tube files in here maybe? Anyway, you may be young enough to have missed Thirteen Monkeys. Very weird and very good, one of my favorite of Brad Pitt's characters.

Just so you know, Dead End is also a very funny film too. It really has the feel of a David Lynch movie but it's not and it's very well done for a small budget film.

And speaking of Lynch, how could I have forgotten Nadja:

The Limey with Terrance Stamp was another small budget film and quite good; it's the story of a man just out of jail from the UK who comes to America after learning his daughter was killed in a car crash. He goes on a mission to find the man responsible for her death:

Great films. "But I didn't eat the yellow ones." was so funny to me for some reason. That and the psychic fax bit - "I'm dying ... for a cigarette."
