how about try getting a book 'walking on eggshells' BPD , sometime sorry i forget the exact title but its close enough if your library has it, it might make a good read.... its more on living with it, and from that you might be able to identify with it, and if not then there might be possibility it doesnt describe you, just another way of investigating, but it is not suggested as a sole means to decidem, you need to do other means, like seeing different doctors for second options, etc

Another great book about bipolar disorder is called "Bipolar Disorder for Dummies." If you want to learn the basics about bipolar, this is a must read.
