A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part III

I have used one of those so many times too when camping. Some looked just like that photo above, others looked more like the modern-day porta-potties.

At a time when my grandparents were not in a position to add a city sewer connection to the rental house they put up a really nice one. Not that you would confuse it with a porta-potty though. At had a good deal of wood but I think it also had a concrete floor. I am trying to remember back to the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Home sweet home. My car broke down on highway 70 seven miles from home returning from a road trip. I walked all the way, but didn't mind. I was wrapped like an Indian in a blanket in the cold night, and later today I will probably retrieve the car. They shoot horses, you know. :)

Have you gotten to pickup your car yet? I hope you found everything ok except for the problem that made it quit.

God no! I’ve seen them in my home state, but considering what those relics might harbor, after you! :D

I think that most of us that have are referring to ones that get at least semi-frequent use. Or ones that are kept in decent condition to be ready for use at any time. Not ones that we just happen across out in the middle of nowhere.

I sort of gave it away. It had a cracked head gasket and I let my friends take it off my hands because it was a relic, an old Ford Escort. This was the second time the gasket cracked, and they told me that old Escorts were prone to it. I got wheels, though. Thanks for asking.

Going to make caramel rolls, then watch the Vikings, and have pizza. My idea of a perfect Sunday!

A friend is still out of town so I fed a mouse to his Royal Python. It struck immediately so I better feed it another one soon.

My daughter has a snake at my ex's house. Just a gardner, that shouldn't get too big. I was picking her up last night, and she showed me two small mice, one black and the other white. I called them salt and pepper, but my ex said they don't name the food.

I learned this morning how to tell the difference between box turtle sexes. The males got red eyes while the females got lovely golden eyes. ;)

I am enjoying doing absolutely nothing lol

A couple friends had such a blast they are coming back next weekend. Lol
