I swear everything I say/ type is a big fucking deal. Just because some of the residents there get on my nerves dosent mean im going to sit there and curse them out or make their life a living hell. You guys are acting like b/c they get on my nerves I'm just going to go crazy and hurt them one...

Okay thats exactly what I thought. my asl teacher and I were signing to each other one day about having sign names and she told me that only people in the deaf community could give someone else a sign name. so a few minutes later I saw my friend and i said "aw i want a sign name." and thats when...

can a hearing person give themselves their own sign name? I thought someone within the deaf community had to give someone their sign name.

Hey:wave:, Im new to this website. I found out about it while I was on another website. I'm hearing but I'm learning asl in college. I took it in high school once and after that I was just like I HAVE to keep learning this language ^_^.
