Tried being a good hubby by grilling burgers for dinner since my wife had a bit of a rough day at work...turns out Teriyaki is flammable and I single handedly ruined today's dinner and my wife's lunch for tomorrow.
Pizza it is!

I used to have a full mold but those would make my ears sweat and give me a deep itch that I couldn't relieve. These newer ones only itch where that thin piece makes contact. I suppose it's the lesser of two evils but I still prefer not wearing any.
Thank you for clarifying, I've been raised in a hearing world and did not realize there was a difference.
These are the things I hope to learn from this site and all of the awesome people here. Thanks again.
Been HOH since grade 2, that's when I got my first h.a. I meant I'm still hearing as in I still have the ability to hear...didn't know hearing was so confusing.
As of yet I am still hearing, although I've been classified as 50% loss in my left ear and 75% loss in my right ear. Would it be insensitive of me to do an experiment in which I wear earplugs for an extended amount of time (7+days) just to see what the future may hold?
I'm HOH and have always had a job (at least since graduating high school)
Although there are some professions i can't do because of my hearing.
I currently read electric meters for a living. I walk an average of 12-16 miles everyday m-f
