    Not pathetic at all. I have no idea what level I'm at. I learned quite a bit through a CODA I knew for a project, and sometimes my mom will sign with me, but from lack of having people to practice with, my ASL sucks xD I plan on becoming fluent, though.

    I have meniere's as well. I have hearing aids, but like you said, it just makes things louder, not clearer. I've lost about 50% in my right ear and 40% in the left, and I'm working at a fast food restaurant. Even if/when I go completely deaf, I hope to still be working. Maybe you could work on...
