Skyscrapers in other countries #2

No, he's not joking. There are a high percentage of hispanics living in Los Angeles metro area. California has a huge problem with hispanic immigrants.

Immigrants?! You're joking!

Nope He is not joking at all. USA is experiencing immigrant issues for hundred years since around around 16th Century before USA became independence from Great British (July 4, 1776). We, Americans are not really fond of immigrants even we have heritages that comes from another countries. I noticed something odd about immigrants issues in USA... Most of Americans don't mind Asians, Australians, New Zealanders, Canadians, Europeans, Indians, and Latins but they do not welcome Mexicans or Arabs at all. It is big issues right now.

Very true. It is not just California that is having huge problem with hispanic immigrants... Texas, Neveda, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, others states are also having huge problem with them.

No I am not lol.. There is only 46.9% Whites in Los Angeles, while there is another 46.5% Latinos in the year of 2000. (look at the demographic, Los Angeles, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

I am sure Los Angeles have less than 20 percentage of Caucasians by now. I was in Los Angeles recently and I was one of very few Caucasians while Latinos are EVERYWHERE in Los Angeles.

Yupp I know.. That's why America have so many of people complaining about the immigrants.

Right on!

Non-hispanic white in LA is 29.7% in 2000, 46.9% white is included in combined with white alone and white part and latino part (mestizo or something like that).

In some part of LA, there's alot of white in West LA, USC area and west portion of valley and most coastal communities.

Very true. Most neighborhoods in West or Northwest of Los Angeles tend to be middle to upper class. Most Caucasians enjoy beaches so they lives near to it. In the general, Caucasian population is decreasing in Los Angeles metro area because they're fleeing to Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, and other states for various reasons. Every time I go visit my relatives in southern California, I noticed less and less Caucasians for last five years.

In my city, Seattle, Washington... I read somewhere that Seattle has more than 60% Caucasians but it is changing lately because we are getting more and more diversity now. Few years ago, Bend, Oregon is known as "Hot Spot" for Caucasians to relocate. I am not sure if it is still "hot spot" by now.

Yup, I feel that Arizona, New Mexico and Texas will going be similiar to California about demographic shift, plus I noticed that latino will be majority (50%) in California by 2040 or 2050, Texas will be next one or before or not sure, it's from projection.

In recently, alot of whites are move out of San Bernardino County and some part of Riverside County for some reason, when communities like Fontana was grew in 70's and 80's then white population was peaked in around 90's, right after 1992 LA riot, it does same in Ontario and San Bernardino. Central Valley (Van Nuys, Reseda, Balboa Lake, North Hills) are demographic shift too, used to be alot of whites in 90's then more latino are moving in area due alot of apts and cheap rent, it was cheap rent in 90's then now, it would be nearly overpriced.

World has been changed then I can't complain about it, I havelife with that. Alot of mexicans are moving to chicago too, most of them are from suburb with alot of apts and cheap houses.

Sorry about off-topic, you can reply to me via PM.

Beautiful towers in Toronto Canada to GA

On the issue of immigrants - where I work Hispanics are definitely the majority. Im guessing that only 30-40% of the workers there are Caucasian. Asians at around 5% Then blacks are around 1%.

As for the overall town, its around 54% hispanic the rest are caucasian or another race.
