Dear Joshua

I agree with you. :)

what about flip flops? do you think they should wear to school?

my best friend's daugther wore the flip flops to school and end up breaking her ankle and have to wear a cast.. :eek3:

Kids shouldn't wear their flip flops at schools. Its dangerous for them to wear that in school or anywhere except if they're going to swimming or water park or beach or at home. Kids should wait until they're in their late teenager years so they can wear flip flops.

Do you think Im putting my DD at risk for allowing her to wear flip flops at home, church and other functions. Her daycare bans them, and are planning on banning the croc shoes as well. My DD is three. We've never had any foot problems stemming from the flip flops.

FC - I know for a fact that Rsvl bans flip-flops altogether after one girl fell and broke her leg on the stairs when another student stepped on the back of it as a prank to cause her to trip. I can safely say the actions of one jerk causes the rest of the school to have to deal with not wearing flops.

Be glad, your DD is lucky that she didn't hurt herself by flip flops yet. Most of kids are doing fine with their flip flops until accident happens. All I can say is... Just be careful. :)

Dear Joshua,
Because of the surgery I had i have to either be on crutches or in a wheelchair when i get around. Everyone looks at me like i'm a freak I try to ignore them but they stare for what seems like hours. What can i do to get them to stop staring?

Dear Joshua,

Which colleges offer great Interior Designing programs? What's the average cost to go to school for Interior Designig? Are the classes hard?

Try to use your sense of humor by telling them "Can I help you?" If they replied nothing, you can get blunt with them by say this, "Can you guys please stop stare me like I am celebrity?"

Art Institutes. USA and Canada have plenty of Art Institutes.
The Art Institutes: Home

There are some universities offer interior design classes too. You can look it up in your area or state.

At my school, I pay around 24,000 dollars for four quarters (a year). My school is four years program but it summarized into three full years since summer classes are included. For supplies only... Average around 200 to 300 dollars a quarter.

Some interior design classes are hard and challenging. At beginning, you will take easy courses to develop your skills in drafting, computer aid drafting (CAD), Computer Graphic, space planning, knowledge of codes of ethics, fabrics, materials, furnitures, lightings, professional behaviors, details, construction, kitchen & bath, and commercial design. Once you gain the skills of these and you will have difficult classes just before your graduation.

Dear Joshua,
I have interests in many things and can do many skills. But I need college degree to get out of the chicken plant. Which do you think will be the most useful for a HH single mom:
Human Relations
Writing
Graphic Design/Art
Agri Buisness in both poultry and crop science.
I prefer to have a job that allows me to be flexible, and Im not stuck doing the same thing all day every day for piddly pay. I really like being outdoors but no one is going to let a woman work outside - they'll have me driving a desk in no time. Thoughts?

You have to narrow down your interests to help you figure out what you want to do for living and make you happy. You could get a degree at school that you want to go and can do freelance (depends on what career field you want to do that can do freelance) after graduation.

As for single mom... If you can't afford to pay the education and supplies. Apply for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to get the loans or grants for your education. If you want to get a degree faster, you might have to apply for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) to help you get though school and support your children and pay the bills.

No problem. Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope things will get better once you get blunt with them.

Dear Joshua,
As you know I am deaf- but not completely. When guys ask me out and I try explaining to them that I am deaf, once they know that they shy away and back off never to be heard from again. Should I whack these guys upside the head or go cry in a corner and listen to sappy love songs all night?

No, let them go. That is their loss. You deserve to have someone special that would accept the way you are. You don't need to cry or listen sappy love songs at all the night. Just move on and find something that distract yourself from that situation. :)

Dear Joshua,
I feel like I have been called to witness, should I go forth with this or should I say Im too busy playing mom to be effective?

Witness to what? I am sorry I don't understand your question.

Dear Joshua,
My ex wants me back but his boss is also trying to date me. Both of them are equal as to the relationship they bring. I don't want to hurt either of them but i also don't want to play them. My ex is 20 and his boss is 19. My ex drives and is going to college, and his boss does neither. So what is your best solution for this problem? thanks

Tell your ex that you are not interested to have relationship with him again and he needs to move on with his life. Tell your ex boss that you are not interested either.

If I were you, I would find my high school yearbook to refresh my memory. You might recognize some of them. I urge you go to your 20th high school reunion or you will never know! :) Please let us know how your 20th high school reunion turns out. :) Good luck! :)

Dear Josh,
I did go to my hs reunion and it was not the worst time nor the best time. I did get to see old friends that I knew since elementry school who came to my hs. It was surreal , my goodness most of my classmates were drunk no kidding.. it was funny to see the class "slut" who had major plastic surgery done her nose is soo tiny LOL She wasn't a bad looking girl in hs she was drunk as well LOL.. I did sit with some people that I didn't even hang out with in hs but we were the loudest table. I was not very sociable due to this cold I have bummer.. I didn't meet any single guys :( Oh, well maybe I will get lucky else where. Just to keep you update on this even it was okay overall. Any suggestions how to get a guy? :giggle:
