Gas is going to be 4 a gal this summer

I'd say we probably see $3 - $3.10...maybe even $3.25 max generally over the summer. Someplaces will be more of course and so I speak of average prices.

It's already over 3.00 everwhere so we might see around 3.50....

Do not buy gas on May 15th just for one day.

I received my email from my friends. I thought that you should be ready to buy the gas before the specific day. Here is:

This is something worth doing !

________________________________

NO GAS...On May 15th 2007.

Don't pump gas on May 15th ..in April 1997, there was a "gas out"
conducted nationwide inprotest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station
in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most
places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill
up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldnt) resend this to all
your contact list. With it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

^^^^ i believe this will not work.. 1 day isn't going to hurt them. you drive you use gas.. and that will be filled the next day. heh.

thats only if you don't drive for a day. possibally a week? there is ride a bike to work/school day too as well.

It's better than nothing. If they did not listen about not going to the gas station, then it won't work. A least, we can try at this time to see how much it changes in one day.

I like Gitgo, and it is a good company. (It's from South America.) They helped some poor people in the U.S.A. for a better gas price. We need to avoid Mobil because this company buys oil and gas from Arabia which is a bad idea. Sometimes, I had to go and buy some gas at Mobil. I know that it was a bad excuse. The 20/20 news stated that Arabia never made a friendship with U.S. They are strict in the business only that matter to them. That's why the Gov't made a wrong friend with Arabia.

It does same with Exxon too, also Exxon sucks.

Now changing to Motorcycle! :-D just got everything ready and fix and ready for summer riding.

it's $4.49 at a gas station somewhere around here. Looks like its gonna be about $5 a gal.

WTF? Gas price is keeping go up and up then shame on Bush.

I bet that Bush is exciting about life is getting more screw and make tension on himself.

Well, I'm going to figure out on myself about save my $$$ on stupid gas, also my car is Honda Accord, it's good gas savings but less savings than Honda Civic does.

btw, respect my opinion about Bush's issue.

I could care less what you think about Bush. But at least get your facts straight on who to blame. There is plenty of blame to go around and it goes from top to bottom.

The politicians because they aren't willing to make hard decisions about alternatives in transportation options along with alternatives in power/fuels to power these options. For them, it is which way the wind is blowing at the time. Better to riding the wave instead of being castigated for being ahead of everybody else.

The energy and oil companies because they got control of a scarce resource and they can dictate prices (not that it works all the time but they have too much control on it). For those of you capitalists types (of which I tend to be in that group), there is not a perfect supply and demand situation here.

The Joe Q. Publics (the little guys) because they prefer to stick their heads in the sand instead of being in agreement about developing alternatives. Only when the price gets outrageous do we start hollering about it. How many of us are willing to give up our cars? Not many...I rest my case.

Yea, Im on your side. Plenty of ideas to blame on. I have understand about oil business history, especially the great oil crisis back in 1970's where Richard Nixon made huge mistake by taking over control on oil price, it went really out of control, this time it is much less out of control than back in 70's.

The only real way for oil price to drop is that majority of motorist would use alternative fuel. Not many of us are willing due to the cost! I am one of them, not willing to pay for another vehicle with alternative fuel.

But think this way, once Hydrogen fuel cell becomes common, the oil price will drop like a huge rock would!

George Bush have had authorized millions of dollars on Hydrogen Fuel cells. Don't you know that?

Now, look at other hand, Milk price have shot up, know why? These stupid ethanol refinery now needs more corn, and cause shortage of corn supply end up push the milk and other diary products price upward faster than usual.

You means oil crisis in 1973 or 1979? In 1979, oil companies are screwed up after all happened in Iran and gas prices are goes up and up, even worst inflation than in now but not know about in 1973.

Don't surprised, gas price was around $1.20 or more in 1980.

'70 is still the worst in history! Especially around '73

Believe it or not, crisis with Iranian have been there for plenty of years, even before 70's

Yike! if that happens at my area, I will simply quit my job, and living off the SSI instead. Luckily in Germany have alot of area that don't require cars.

Living in NYC, LA and SF will be solve your problem.

Oh yes we need cars... There're good transport everywhere in cities than towns. At villiage where I live, only have one bus connection to 2 different towns. We don't have metro in town which few miles away from my area but trains.

I would love to take bus to work but it's impossible because I have to get up by 4 am to get 2 buses to work place (2 hours) so I choose to use car instead because it takes me only 15 to 20 minutes drive to work.

A lot of people use bicycles to town instead of car to get something small. I'm one of them... If I need something big like big shopping for foods and drink then use car... if small then use bicycle.
